Book reviews are all about what YOU thought of a book. They don’t tell the story, and they certainly don’t give away the ending. Your sentences could begin with:
I thought … I liked when … My favourite part was when … I found … I didn’t like … I laughed when … and so on.
When you start your review with these sentence starters, you know you are talking about what you thought, not just what happened. Don’t forget to email your book reviews to [email protected]. Just ask your teacher or parent for help

A very silly monkey got himself into a lot of trouble recently.
The baby long-tailed macaque (pronounced macawk) passed out with after slurping down a cup of coffee it stole from a tourist!
The thirsty monkey jumped onto a tourist’s motorbike in the Thai capital Bangkok and quickly drank the coffee.
As the monkey was only around 6 months old, the coffee was too much and, within seconds, he collapsed.
However, quick-thinking tourists raised the alarm and a vet was quickly on the scene.
After giving him emergency aid, the cheeky little monkey finally came around and was soon healthy enough to rejoin his troop.
Two lessons learned for little monkey: don’t steal and certainly don’t drink coffee!
