OUR STORY

The Table Soccer Association of Canada (TSAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide growth, development and leadership to all Canadians playing table soccer.

TSAC is composed of regional and local table soccer clubs across the country. Together we provide opportunities for all Canadians to learn, participate and compete in the sport at all levels.

We are currently made up of three regional and nine local associations. Our player base includes approximately 300 active pro-tour players and approximately 700 recreational players from coast-to-coast.

While a large part of the Association is to encourage recreational and amateur play in Canada, TSAC dedicates efforts to be able to send Canadian National teams to the International Table Soccer Federation (ITSF) World Cup each year.

In December 2013, we will be sending a Men’s and Women’s National team to the World Cup in Nantes, France. The teams, comprised of players from Edmonton, Hamilton, Montreal, Toronto, Victoria, Sherwood Park, Calgary, Trois-Rivières and Québec City, will face the top 30 teams in the world as they represent Canada in their quest for gold.


By promoting the sport at local and national levels, our vision is to continue to grow and improve our player base in Canada. With the help of local volunteers and passionate players, we focus on fostering a smooth transition from entry to excellence at all ages. In addition to the benefits of healthy competition and team play, a primary goal is to send top-ranked national men’s, women’s youth and senior teams to the world cup each year.

Short Term (next 3 years)

- Support recreational youth and adult leagues in all ten provinces (currently in four); - Increase awareness of the sport across Canada; - Continue to achieve National media exposure; - Increase our player database by 40% (currently 1,000 active players); - Improve the quality of our National training facilities in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec; - Launch an annual Canadian National Pro Tour; - Increase our number of executive members (all volunteer based) to span all ten provinces;

Long Term (next 10 years)

- Win the men’s Division 1 ITSF World Cup;

- Finish top 3 in the women’s Division 1 ITSF World Cup;

- Enter youth and senior teams in the ITSF World Cup;

- Open two more National training facilities: one in BC and

another in the Maritimes.

NATIONAL SUPPORTThe Table Soccer Association of Canada (TSAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization made up of passionate volunteers and players. Our player base is dedicated and growing, and Canadian players have made huge strides internationally over the past seven years, winning major events at numerous North American and International tournaments.

Since the launch of TSAC in 2007, we’ve opened three National training facilities and helped send 3 National teams to the 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2013 World Cups. In 2014, we will be sending our fifth Men’s team and first Women’s team to France.

TSAC was born out of pure love for the sport. Today, we continue to grow the Association with the help of a few volunteers in each region. While our goals are to continue to advance the sport and the competition in the country, we can’t do so without a little support.

Like many other national sport organizations, TSAC does not receive any national or local funding. Our players must pay for their own equipment, training, travel, uniforms, accommodations and entry fees into all local, national and international competitions including the World Cup. For some players, this amounts to over $6,000 each year.

Without financial aid, many of our top players are unable to properly train and compete on the national and international stage. In fact, several of our most skilled and experienced players have stopped playing altogether because of this financial hurdle, which greatly impedes our ability to grow the sport.
