TSDA Talk Instructions (Citation vs. Permission) Copyrighted material has to be either cited or used with the permission of the copyright owner. Illustrations and large amounts of text require permission. Citations may be used for quotes, data, statistics, and paraphrasing. Authors are responsible for either citing information or obtaining permission depending on the length of copy, data, statistics or illustration. The TSDA does not claim copyright ownership over any of the lectures/talks it posts. Furthermore, the TSDA cannot request permission, or research or provide citations on behalf of authors.
