Responsibilities: This is a general English language proficiency course that focuses on all four language
skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking), grammar, vocabulary, study skills and IT literacy in all
levels of English proficiency. I coordinated the Intermediate level (level 3) and as a coordinator I
conducted team meetings and discussed various issues related to teaching and learning

distinguishing between similar- sounding words and practicing matching written with spoken forms

VoiceBoard/Audacity recordings, poster presentations, taped discussions, rhetorical speeches, use of
video, and the use of authentic materials where appropriate

Responsibilities: This is one of the leading universities in Armenia in the field of Information
Technologies and Liberal Education. I worked as a full time assistant professor in the department of
Pedagogy and Philosophy. I taught English for Specific Purposes, which focused on developing
general English (75%) as well as English for Specific Purposes (25%) related to the work-place and
core content of the program courses. English, IT, research and study skills were employed to
complete a range of tasks to facilitate English language acquisition. I
