Problem: A heavy duty truckmanufacturer needed externalfluid conveying pressure lines tofeed the transmission shown inthe pictures below. Steel lineswere preferred because of theirdurability, clean appearance, space saving and ease ofinstallation without clamping. Solution: Customer sent aprototype transmission into Mid-State for evaluation. We designedthe tube routing in 3D forapproval. The prototypetransmission was returned with aset of tubes as shown in picturesbelow. Result: Our customer can order asingle kit of custom bent tubeassemblies. They will save time inproduction to install and setthemselves apart in themarketplace due to the benefitsdescribed above.
