SBU Automotive is strategic business unit, which is part of production plant ArcelorMittal Karviná SBU Automotive specializes in productions of welded cold sized tubes, welded cold sized hol-low sections and welded cold drawn tubes for Automotive industry according to standards EN 10305-2, EN 10305-3 and EN 10305-5. Our

products can be found in steering systems, seat structures or other parts of a car.

ArcelorMittal Karviná has tradition in production of tubes and hollow sections from 1918 and continues in it to this day.

Welding lines As SBU Automotive has long tradition in welding tubes and hollow sections, our welding line is also able to weld shapes like „T“ or „L“ due to historical partnership with some customers.

Cutting centreFor our Automotive customers we offer two possibilities of cut-to-lenght tubes. Brushed ends are mainly dedicated to seat structure components. Chamfered ends are widely used in applications like steering columns and shock absorbers.
