WearPro UnderCarriage Monitoring System: UCM

WearPro’s patented UCM system was born from a failed idler that didn’t

get caught on a routine audit. This caused unscheduled down time and

added expense to the mine. The engineers at WearPro developed a

system to monitor rollers and idlers internally in real-time to help identify

failing components in advance so service can be proactively scheduled

during normal P.M. cycle and avoiding unscheduled downtime.

The UCM system can tie into WearPro

lube system to deliver grease to rollers

and idlers on an as needed basis to

individual rollers as opposed to a timer

system that dumps grease to all rollers

regardless of need

Overlay pins are designed to run against the WearPro manganese steel

bushings. We offer both new and rebuilt overlay pins. The WearPro pins

are designed for the toughest of applications. WearPro offers pin & bushing

kits for all hydraulic and electric shovels.

WearPro Rebuilt Standard Bit Subs

WearPro started rebuilding bit subs for a

local mine in 2010. Test studies were

performed and results showed WearPro’s

rebuilt bit sub lasted as long as new bit

subs.

High Demand For New Bit Subs

WearPro upgraded our facility to start manufacturing new

bit subs. With our rebuilt bit subs running as long as new

subs we took that same technology and applied it to our

new bit subs. All our new products are manufactured in our

facility in Tucson, AZ.

WearPro Rebuilt Oversized Bit Subs

In 2014, WearPro rebuilt our first test oversized bit sub. Tests showed that

oversized bit subs were a huge success.
