Dear Current School Volunteers,

In 2012 the Diocesan Office of Child and Youth Protection updated the former training entitled “Safe in Place,” to the new training, “Recognizing Child Abuse,” due to a change in laws regarding mandatory reporting. If you have not completed the updated training entitled “Recognizing Child Abuse,” you must do so in order to volunteer at Sacred Heart School. Please do so as soon as possible, no later than December 9. To access the online training, visit the website by clicking here or copy and paste this link into your browser (https://safeandsacred-diobr.org/login/index.php. Select “Safe and Sacred Online Train-ing Center” on the left. You will then long-in and access the training “Recognizing Child Abuse.” If you have completed the training, the system will say your certificate has been issued for the course. If you have trouble logging in, please contact the website’s tech-nical support team. Upon completing the training, have the certificate emailed to me ([email protected]). Please email me if you have any questions or problems. Thank you for your cooperation.
