CONTEST RULESEach advertisement on this page lists football games being played this week. Using the official entry blank on the this page, pick the team you predict to WIN each game. Deliver your official entry form to: FOOTBALL CONTEST EDITOR, Guthrie News Leader 107 W. Harrison, Guthrie, Ok. 73044. Entries may be mailed but must be postmarked no later than Friday. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. the Friday before games are played. If you wish to predict a tie, both teams must be marked as a WINNER. In the event of a tie for the prize, the “tie-breaker” game will determine the winner. The person correctly selecting the winner of the “tie-breaker” game will be determine the winner. If more than one entry correctly selects the winner of the “tie-breaker”, the entry predicting the closest to the total points scored by both teams in the “tie-breaker” game wins the prize. If a tie still remains, the prize will be divided among the correct entries. One entry per person per week. Entry forms must be completely filled out. No photo copies or mechanically reproduced entry forms accepted. ONLY OFFICIAL ENTRY FORMS ACCEPTED. Official entry blanks available in the Tuesday edition of the Guthrie News Leader each week as long as the Guthrie BlueJays are playing football. Winners will be announced in the Thursday edition of the Guthrie News Leader the week after the games are played. Employees of the Guthrie News Leader and their immediate families are not eligible. No purchase necessary.
