Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015Pinokio Once upon a time there are a poor old wood carver named gepeto one day he was making a puppet from a tree branch, you shall be my little boy and I shall call you pinokio said gepeto, he worked very hard carving each detail. After he finished the puppet he was very shock because the puppet just talk to him, you can talk?! gepeto surprised of course I can silly, you give me a mouth to talk with answered pinokio .gepeto was very happy, and he said to pinokio that he will have a normal life just like a normal boy , including school

The next day on the way to school pinokio stoped to see a puppet show, I can dance better than that he said ,quickly he climbed on to the stage, at first the puppet master didnt like pinokio but when he saw that the crowd love him, he just ;let pinokio stay, at thev end of the show, the puppet master gave pinokio five copper coins and tell him to go straight home,

On the way home pinokio met a lame fox and a blind cat, knowing that pinokio had money they pretend to be his friend, they trick pinokio to put his money under a tree, they said to him that the money will become gold . after a while the fox and the cat that werent really lame and blind quickly snuck away and disguised themselves as thieves, when pinokio start digging the money, they pounced on him. Give us the money They ordered, just then pinokio guardian the blue fairy sent her dog rufus to chase the fox and the cat, and then she take pinokio back to her castle

Why didnt you go to school todaysaid the blue fairy, I did answered pinokio , just then his nose started to shot out like a tree branch, pinokio was surprised and very sad, the fairy said that every time you tell a lie his nose will grow but if he tell the truth it will shrink, and she said that pinokio will bw a real boy if he learn how to be brave, generous and honest, then she tolld him to go home and not stop for any reason

Not verry long before pinokio met some boys, the boys said that he know a place to have fun, so pinokio followed the boy. The boy take pinokio to a circuses but they doesnt know that if you are bad you will be turned into donkeys and trained for the circuses

Not verry long before they turned into donkeys, but because pinokio was made from a tree branches he doesnt changed completely, so the circus master throw him into the sea,

after pinokio swam for a long time a whale ate him, he was very scared ,then he heard a voice from inside the whale stomach echoing it turn out that the voice was from gepeto, gepeto was looking for pinokio. Then pinokio helped gepeto to make a raft, when the raft was finished pinokio tell a lie so that his nose will grow to tickle the whale, when the whale sneezes it blow them out of his stomachHome at last pinokio was very happy, and he remembered what the blue fairy had told him, the next morning pinokio came running down the steeps, jumping and wafing his arms he ran to gepeto and shouted look father, Im a real boy

Cinderella

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl named Cinderella. She lived with her wicked stepmother and two stepsisters. They treated Cinderella very badly. One day, they were invited for a grand ball in the kings palace. But Cinderellas stepmother would not let her go. Cinderella was made to sew new party gowns for her stepmother and stepsisters, and curl their hair. They then went to the ball, leaving Cinderella alone at home.

Cinderella felt very sad and began to cry. Suddenly, a fairy godmother appeared and said, Dont cry, Cinderella! I will send you to the ball! But Cinderella was sad. She said, I dont have a gown to wear for the ball! The fairy godmother waved her magic wand and changed Cinderellas old clothes into a beautiful new gown! The fairy godmother then touched Cinderellas feet with the magic wand. And lo! She had beautiful glass slippers! How will I go to the grand ball? asked Cinderella. The fairy godmother found six mice playing near a pumpkin, in the kitchen. She touched them with her magic wand and the mice became four shiny black horses and two coachmen and the pumpkin turned into a golden coach. Cinderella was overjoyed and set off for the ball in the coach drawn by the six black horses. Before leaving. the fairy godmother said, Cinderella, this magic will only last until midnight! You must reach home by then!

When Cinderella entered the palace, everybody was struck by her beauty. Nobody, not even Cinderellas stepmother or stepsisters, knew who she really was in her pretty clothes and shoes. The handsome prince also saw her and fell in love with Cinderella. He went to her and asked, Do you want to dance? And Cinderella said, Yes! The prince danced with her all night and nobody recognized the beautiful dancer. Cinderella was so happy dancing with the prince that she almost forgot what the fairy godmother had said. At the last moment, Cinderella remembered her fairy godmothers words and she rushed to go home. Oh! I must go! she cried and ran out of the palace. One of her glass slippers came off but Cinderella did not turn back for it. She reached home just as the clock struck twelve. Her coach turned back into a pumpkin, the horses into mice and her fine ball gown into rags. Her stepmother and stepsisters reached home shortly after that. They were talking about the beautiful lady who had been dancing with the prince.

The prince had fallen in love with Cinderella and wanted to find out who the beautiful girl was, but he did not even know her name. He found the glass slipper that had come off Cinderellas foot as she ran home. The prince said, I will find her. The lady whose foot fits this slipper will be the one I marry! The next day, the prince and his servants took the glass slipper and went to all the houses in the kingdom. They wanted to find the lady whose feet would fit in the slipper. All the women in the kingdom tried the slipper but it would not fit any of them. Cinderellas stepsisters also tried on the little glass slipper. They tried to squeeze their feet and push hard into the slipper, but the servant was afraid the slipper would break. Cinderellas stepmother would not let her try the slipper on, but the prince saw her and said, Let her also try on the slipper! The slipper fit her perfectly. The prince recognized her from the ball. He married Cinderella and together they lived happily ever after.

The Legend of SurabayaA long time ago in East Java there were two strong animals, Sura and Baya. Sura was a shark and Baya was a crocodile. They lived in the sea. Actually, they were friends. But when they were hungry, they were very greedy. They did not want to share their food. They would fight for it and never stop fighting until one of them gave up.

It was a very hot day. Sura and Baya were looking for some food. Suddenly, Baya saw a goat.

Yummy, this is my lunch, said Baya.

No way! This is my lunch. You are greedy! I had not eaten for two days! said Sura.Then Sura and Baya fought again. After several hours, they were very tired. Sura had a plan to stop their bad behavior.

Im tired of fighting, Baya, said Sura.

Me too. What should we do to stop fighting? Do you have any idea? asked Baya.Yes, I do. Lets share our territory. I live in the water, so I look for food in the sea. And you live on the land, right? So, you look for the food also on the land. The border is the beach, so we will never meet again. Do you agree? asked Sura.

Hmm... let me think about it. OK, I agree. From today, I will never go to the sea again. My place is on the land, said Baya.

Then they both lived in the different places. But one day, Sura went to the land and looked for some food in the river. He was very hungry and there was not much food in the sea. Baya was very angry when he knew that Sura broke the promise.

Hey, what are you doing here? This is my place. Your place is in the sea!

But, there is water in the river, right? So, this is also my place! said Sura.

Then Sura and Baya fought again. They both hit each other. Sura bite Baya's tail. Baya did the same thing to Sura. He bit very hard until Sura finally gave up. He went back to the sea. Baya was very happy. He had his place again.

The place where they were fighting was a mess. Blood was everywhere. People then always talked about the fight between Sura and Baya. They then named the place of the fight as Surabaya, its from Sura the shark and Baya the crocodile. People also put their war as the symbol of Surabaya city.

THE LEGEND OF BANYUWANGI Once upon a time, in eastern part of Java Island, there was a kingdom ruled by a king. The kings name was Prabu Menak Prakoso. One day, Prabu Menak and his soldiers invaded the kingdom of Klungkung in Bali. The king of Klungkung was killed, yet his daughter, Made Surati, and his son, Agung Bagus Mantra, were able to escape and hide in the jungle.Prabu Menak Prakoso had a son named Raden Banterang. He was such a handsome young man. One day, Raden Banterang went to the jungle for hunting. It was in the jungle that Raden Banterang met Made Surati. She was then taken to Blambangan to be his wife. Raden Banterang and Made Surati enjoyed a happy life in the Palace.When Raden Banterang was hunting one day, Made Surati was surprised by the arrival of a dirty beggar asking for her pity. The princess was surprised to find that the beggar was her older brother, Agung Bagus Mantra. She promptly squatted and embraced her brothers legs. However, her great respect of her brother was not well accepted. Instead, Agung Bagus Mantra asked his sister to kill Raden Banterang. But such a request was rejected. He was very angry with her and came up with a sly idea to slander her.Slowly but surely, Agung succeeded in convincing Raden Banterang that his wife had been involved in a scandal with another man. Asking for compassion, Made Surati tried to tell the truth and denied her husbands accusation. Hearing his wife explanation, the king became angrier and angrier. As a proof of her sacred love, she asked her husband to kill her. As her last request, she asked her husband to throw her dead body into the river. She said that if the water in the river smelled terrible, it meant that she had ever been sinful. But if it smelled fragrant, it meant that she was innocent.Raden Banterang who was unable to control his emotions soon stabbed his kers (dagger) into his wifes chest. She died instantly. The dead body of Made Surati was quickly thrown into the dirty river. Raden Banterang was shocked to see the river suddenly become clean and as clear as glass with a fragrant smell. Raden Banteraflll screamed crazily and regretted his deed. He walked unsteadly and fell into the river screaming, Banyu Wang Banyuwangi! This means fragrant water.Banyuwangi was born from the proof of noble and sacred love. From then on, the place is called Banyuwangi.Blind ListeningA stupid man was sent by his father to sell salt. He first went to a mining area but nobody there wanted his salt. When he returned home, his father told him that if he had helped the miners to dig, they would have bought his salt.

The man next went to a house where a wedding was taking place. There he dug a huge hole. This made the people angry and they chased him away. When he returned home, his father told him that if he had beaten a drum and danced instead, the people there would have bought salt from him.

Then, he went to a village where there happened to be a fire. Rushing to the place, he started drumming and dancing, only to be thrown out by the people. His father told him that he should have poured water on the fire instead, if he wanted to sell salt there.

In the next place he went to, a couple was fighting with each other. The foolish man poured a bucketful of water on them, again to be chased away. His father later told him that he should have tried to settle the quarrel, in which case they would have bought salt from him.

In the final event, the man saw two bulls fighting with each other. He stepped in to stop the fight and was gored to death by angry bulls.

The Smartest Animal

Tiger & Buffalo

Once there was a farmer from Laos. Every morning and every evening, he ploughed his field with his buffalo.

One day, a tiger saw the farmer and his buffalo working in the field. The tiger was very surprised to see a big animal listening to a small animal. The tiger wanted to know more about the big animal and the small animal.

After the man went home, the tiger spoke to the buffalo; You are so big and strong, why do you do everything the man tells you? The buffalo answered; Oh, the man is very intelligent.

The tiger asked; Can you tell me how intelligent he is?. No, I cant tell you but you can ask him, said the buffalo.

So the next day the tiger asked to the man; Can I see your intelligence?. But the man answered; It at home. Can you go and get it? asked the tiger. Yes but I am afraid you will kill my buffalo when I am gone. Can I tie you to a tree? said the man.

After the man tied the tiger to the tree, he didnt go home to get his intelligence. He took his plough and hit the tiger. Then he said, Now you know about my intelligence even you havent seen it.

The Smartest Parrot

Once upon time, a man had a wonderful parrot. There was no other parrot like it. The parrot could say every word, except one word. The parrot would not say the name of the place where it was born. The name of the place was Catano.

The man felt excited having the smartest parrot but he could not understand why the parrot would not say Catano. The man tried to teach the bird to say Catano however the bird kept not saying the word.

At the first, the man was very nice to the bird but then he got very angry. You stupid bird! pointed the man to the parrot. Why cant you say the word? Say Catano! Or I will kill you the man said angrily. Although he tried hard to teach, the parrot would not say it. Then the man got so angry and shouted to the bird over and over; Say Catano or Ill kill you. The bird kept not to say the word of Catano.

One day, after he had been trying so many times to make the bird say Catano, the man really got very angry. He could not bear it. He picked the parrot and threw it into the chicken house. There were four old chickens for next dinner You are as stupid as the chickens. Just stay with them Said the man angrily. Then he continued to humble; You know, I will cut the chicken for my meal. Next it will be your turn, I will eat you too, stupid parrot. After that he left the chicken house.

The next day, the man came back to the chicken house. He opened the door and was very surprised. He could not believe what he saw at the chicken house. There were three death chickens on the floor. At the moment, the parrot was standing proudly and screaming at the last old chicken; Say Catano or Ill kill you.

THE MAGIC BOXOne of these days, Im going to go to a place where they will never find me.--Ray Shephard.

We caught him this time about two blocks away, heading for a bus stop, the house manager said, you really need to have another talk with him! Hes going to end up injuring himself and I dont want you suing the home!

Mrs. Shephard stood in the back and scanned the room. She quickly spotted Ray Shephard in the last row with a bored look on his face. She walked up and touched his shoulder.

Ray, she whispered, lets go for a walk.

Ray glanced up, smiled, stood, and left the room with Mrs. Shephard. They went outside to a small foyer and sat down on a bench.

Well, what do I owe the honor of this visit? Ray mischievously asked.

You know why Im here, Ray! Mrs. Shephard replied, this is about the third time Ive been called out here! Youve got to stop sneaking out!

Ray laughed, Sneak out?! Hell, I just walk out! Security really lacks at this establishment!

Needless to say, Mrs. Shephard scolded, you need to cut it out!

Duly noted, maam! Ray sarcastically replied.

I mean it, Ray, Mrs. Shephard sternly said, I pay a lot of money to this home for your care and comfort!

I think you mean my sons and grandsons trust funds pay for all of this, dont you?! Ray replied.

Be that as it may, Mrs. Shephard answered, you need to stay put! Now, Ill walk you back to the show.

Never mind, Ray said, Ive seen enough magic shows. If they want to see rabbits disappear, I could tell them a lot about disappearing rabbits! When I did research for Widmore Industries, we used to make a lot of bunnies disappear! But you know all about that, dont you Margo?!

Dont start in, Ray, Mrs. Shephard wearily replied.

Ray just smiled.

Oh, by the way, Mrs. Shephard said, as she opened her purse and pulled out a small box, I wanted to give this to you! She handed him the box. Ray slowly opened it and smiled.

I think its the Rolex watch that you reluctantly gave to Christian for our wedding and that he later gave to Jack for his wedding! Mrs. Shephard said, I thought that Jack had taken it with him when he disappeared the second time! But I found it when I was cleaning out his desk. Thought you would like it back!

You sure you dont want to keep this, Ray asked, or would you like me to keep it, then give it to the next guy you marry?

Mrs. Shephard stood up to leave!

Oh, sit back down, Margo! Ray said, dont get so high and mighty! Visit awhile. God knows, I dont get many visitors these days since the boys are now both gone!

Mrs. Shephard reluctantly sat back down. Ray continued to examine the watch.

This is a very special watch, Ray said, almost to himself, a magic watch! It was only used once! Well, actually twice! But then again, you knew that!

Thats why I figured youd want it back, Mrs. Shephard said, I dont want it around! Besides, maybe it still works! Maybe you can use it one more time! You want to leave so bad. Why dont you use it one more time and do us all a favor!

Youd like that, wouldnt you?! Ray said. Mrs. Shephard didnt reply.

There was a moment of silence between them.

Youd had a birthday recently, didnt you? Ray said, breaking the silence, I know its not polite to ask a lady her age but how old were you?!

You know the answer to that question as well, Ray! Mrs. Shephard replied.

Well, Im talking about your actual age, Margo, Ray said, not the age listed on that forged certificate you carry around!

Goodbye, Ray, Mrs. Shephard said, as she stood to leave.

If I decide to use the watch, why dont you go with me, Margo? Ray said, maybe well end up back where I first found you!

Mrs. Shephard gave Ray a glare, then stomped off!

Goodbye, Margo! Ray called after her, thanks for giving me a shot out of here!

Ray then took the watch out of the box and carefully removed the back. He examined a micro-dot size chip embedded within the watch works. He tapped it and held it to his ear. A slight hum put a smile on Rays face. He adjusted the stem. Ray could feel the subtle electro-magnetic pulses begin to surround him. He closed the watch back up and clipped it onto his wrist. He headed back into the rec room, as the Magician prepared his final trick for the night.

Im looking for a volunteer, the Magician called out, to step into this Magic Box! He pointed to a six foot tall black monolith! Do I have anybody?!

Ill do it! Ray called out, walking up to the small stage.

Very good! the Magician said, lets give a hand to this brave gentleman! The room was filled with sparse applause.

As Ray stood next to the box, the magician leaned over and whispered, Now when you enter, just stand still. Youll feel yourself turning on a wheel, because that is what youll be standing on! Youll be turned back behind a curtain that will make the audience think youve disappeared. Then, Ill say some mumbo jumbo, then youll be turned back around. Ill open the box door and youll magically reappear! Okay?!

I used to do a lot of magic with electro-magnetic fields years ago, Ray whispered back, using real magic boxes!

The Magician just nodded and opened the Magic Box. Ray entered and the Magician closed the door. Ray could hear the Magician prattle on outside. Ray set the watch and waited. He didnt know where he would end up but it had to be better than this place! At least he was going to a place where they couldnt ever find him and bring him back! And he would never bring back a conniving bitch like the last time!

Another round of sparse applause greeted the Magician, as he opened the door to the Magic Box to reveal it was now empty. But, as the Magician began to say some more magic words, in preparation to bring his volunteer back, the hair on the back of his neck suddenly stood up!

A metal necklace he wore, mysteriously levitated towards the box! Suddenly, there was a flash of purple light! The Magician was momentarily confused but continued his presentation. But when he opened the box, anticipating the re-appearance of his volunteer, no one was there!

There was a collective gasp from the audience, then more sparse applause. The Magician was now confused! He looked behind the box. No one was there! Because unknown to him, with the help of his volunteer, he had just performed some real magic! The End

Snow white

A long time ago, a child was born to a queen and king and she was called Snow White. When the queen died, the king married again. This new queen was wicked and hated Snow white. The queen gave orders that Snow White was to be treated as a servant.Snow White grew very beautiful and one day a Prince riding by, saw her at work and fell in love with her.The queen was beautiful too, and every day she asked her Magic Mirror, "Who is the fairest in the land?" and the mirror always answered, "You are the fairest one of all".But one day the mirror answered Snow White was the fairest in the land, and in a rage the queen gave orders to one of her Huntsmen to take Snow White into the woods and kill her.The Huntsman had a kind heart and couldn't do the deed so told her to run away. She fled into the woods where Seven little dwarfs lived. Their house was small and strange.Snow White entered the little house and finding it very untidy, started to clean up. Upstairs she found seven little beds. She was very tired and stretching out on one of the beds, was soon asleep.When the Dwarfs came home they were surprised to find Snow White and after some argument, decided to let her stay. She promised to cook and look after them.The Queen discovered where Snow White was living and disguising herself as a witch, took a poisoned apple and set out for the Dwarfs cottage. She gave Snow White the poisoned apple to eat and as soon as she bit the apple, she sank into unconsciousness.Thinking she was dead, the Dwarfs built a glass coffin and put her in it. For days she lay in the forest in her glass coffin. One day, the Prince was riding through the forest looking for Snow White and found her. He leaned over and kissed her. She opened her eyes and sat up with a smile. Everyone was happy. The Prince took Snow White to his palace where they were married and lived happily ever after.
