INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR THE SCHOOL OR WORKPLACE (BTA3O) OPEN LEVELUsing a hands-on approach, individuals will develop information technology skills appropriate for the workplace or (post-secondary)schoolenvironments.UsingMicrosoftOffice2016WordandExcel,individualswilllearntoapplya
variety of word processing and spreadsheet techniques to produce common business documents.No Prerequisite required; familiarity with computers and word processing, spreadsheet software suggested. Students will have the option to earn a Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate in either Word or Excel.
Additional test fees apply for Microsoft Office Specialist Certification testing offeredby the licensed DSBN Microsoft Imagine Academy.

SELF-STUDY PROGRAMFor mature students and part-timehigh school students who want to earn their high school diploma or prerequisite credits for college or university. Work at home, on independent learning materials, atyour own pace.
Fees:$100 CASH only book deposit fee(cheques not accepted)$80 will be refunded within 3-4 weeks, after materials have been returned.

eLEARNING PROGRAMMature students and part-time high school students can now earn a high school credit online! An Ontario CertifiedTeacherwillteachyourcourse, and will be available via email for course work help, and to arrange yourfinalexam.
Individuals enrolled in eLearning must have:Regular access to a computer with an Internet Connection and word processing software to be successful in this program.

EDVANCEOUTREACH PROGRAMFor mature students not enrolled in a high school program who wish to earn high school credits in a supportive learning environment. Students complete self-paced credits, one at a time,tomaximizesuccess.
Students must be available to attend the program in their chosen community on the scheduled days at the scheduled times.
