TRIPTuition Reduction Incentive Program
What is it?
TRIP (an acronym for Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) allows you to reduce the cost of your tuition or the tuition of someone else by purchasing gift certificates for things you'll buy anyway. It doesn't cost you anything more than you currently spend, except for a few minutes of your time. And anyone can participate - parents whose children attend CSGK now or will attend in the future, grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins and friends.
How to purchase? (3 options)1. Online Portal: https://www.shopwithscrip.com/
Best choice, with most options, and quickest turn around.
We will review this process more in depth.
2. Purchase during ‘On The Spot’ sales. The top 10 items and some other cards will be available for sale in person.
TRIP Sales will now be held at St. Monica on Wednesdays at 8:00-9:00 a.m. in the school lobby.
3. Drop order forms off in the school’s main office during normal school hours and your TRIP order will be filled and returned to the office on the same day of the following week. Please use the most current order forms (linked below).

Online Orders will be processed twice a week for physical cards.
Monday @9:00am for return Wednesday/Thursday (dependent on shipping)
Thursday @ 9:00am for return on Monday/Tuesday (dependent on shipping)
When setting up your account during registration (see future slides) please enter students name and classroom/teacher so that orders can be delivered to the correct location.
If you want to pick up in the school office just note that in place of the classroom/teacher.
If this is not included in the online order it will be placed in the main office at Hackett for pickup.

Step 1: Enter your username (create one)
Step 2: Create and confirm your password

Click ‘YES AND I AGREE’ and you will be taken to the next page to enter your banking
information.

information has been saved!
Two small random amounts of money will be deposited in your checking account that you defined in the previous step. This typically happens within 2 business days of entering your account information.
As soon as you see the deposits in your account, make a note of the amounts. Then return to the area of www.shopwithscrip.com to verify the set-up of your ‘PrestoPay’ account.
Click on the red circle with the exclamation point to verify the two small deposited amounts. (Found under ‘Dashboard’)
You will verify the banking information by entering the two small deposit amounts.
These amounts will stay in your bank account. You will not get rich off them! They may total $0.25 at best.

Online Portal: Presto Pay After successfully verifying your ‘Presto Pay’ account, you will
immediately be given a four digit approval code. You will need to contact your program coordinator with this code to complete the enrollment process.
When setting up your ‘Presto Pay’ remember to email the authorization code to [email protected] for final activation.
Once these steps are complete, you can begin to SHOP!
Please note that there is a $0.15 ‘Convenience Fee’ for every time you checkout using ‘PrestoPay’. Make sure to have your cart complete before checking out to avoid the accumulation of this convenience fee.
Online Portal: Let’s Shop! There are 3 types of cards that you can shop for!
1. Physical
Just as it sounds. You will get a physical card in your hands that you take to the store.
2. Reload
You need a physical card first. Then you register that physical card on the www.shopwithscrip.com website and can reload funds on that physical card.
You must reload funds by 3PM the day before planned usage for the funds to be available the next day.
Keep the physical gift card in your wallet like you would any credit card!
Not all retailers offer all 3 types of cards! You can see which type is

A: On your mobile device!
Log into www.myscripwallet.com on your phone. This is the mobile version of www.shopwithscrip.com.
You can view any ‘Scrip Now’ that you have purchased on www.shopwithscrip.com.
The sign in information is the same as the www.shopwithscrip.com information that is set up on your desktop. Your PIN will also be the same for ‘Presto Pay’ on your mobile device.
You can also purchase more ‘Scrip Now’ or ‘Reloads’ on the mobile site. You can not order ‘Physical’ cards from the mobile site. Physical cards can only be purchased on www.shopwithscrip.com or ‘On The Spot’ in the school lobby once a week and with ‘drop off order forms’.

My Scrip Wallet Use the www.myscripwallet.com website on your phone while shopping
if you need to purchase a ‘Scrip Now’ card for immediate use. Do not use the shopwithscrip.com desktop webpage on your mobile phone to
place a ‘Scrip Now’ order. If you type in the amount for purchase on the desktop webpage on your mobile device, the amount will not be recognized.
Always use www.myscripwallet.com on your mobile device!
To order ‘Scrip Now’ or ‘Reload’ cards, click Order Then choose either ‘Scrip Now’ or ‘Reload’
Type in the retailer you are looking for.
Once you have found a retailer, type in the amount in the increments it allows. And then Add to Cart. A small red circle will appear in your cart.
Click on the cart to pay.
Use your ‘Presto Pay’ PIN that you set up on the www.shopwithscrip.com desktop webpage.
The card will then appear in your ‘Wallet’
Click on the refresh circle in the top left corner while under the ‘Wallet’ tab for the ‘Scrip Now’ card to appear.
Choose the card once it appears and use it to pay!

After you use your ‘Scrip Now’ card under the ‘Wallet’ tab
You can enter a balance if there is any remaining on the card.
If you use your whole card, click ‘Hide’ and it will not show in your ‘Wallet’.
This is the best option while out shopping!
Some families will stock up on ‘Scrip Now’ when different retailers have bonus times.
These bonus times are random. You will receive emails regarding bonus times, so make sure you subscribe to receive emails at registration time.
The bonus amounts can be REALLY HEFTY and this is when one can bank a lot of TRIP funds!
Families can use ‘Scrip Now’ while out shopping to estimate how much a bill might be before checkout.
For example, a family goes shopping at Home Depot. They figured out how much their bill would be in store. Before checkout they bought a ‘Scrip Now’ and used that electronic card instantly to pay. So simple, and now they have just banked some money towards tuition!

Follow the TRIP icon on the bottom left corner of the St. Monica website for up to date TRIP information.
FAQ: TRIP credits will be credited to each registrant’s tuition account three times per year. TRIP
statements are mailed to you three times per year.
Notification of credits will be mailed out in late June/early July. For those paying tuition in full they can deduct their credit from that payment and all others can use their credit in September.
% Split - The TRIP program operates with an 80/20 split. This means that you get 80% of the credit and the schools will receive 20%.
For ‘On The Spot’ ordering:
At this time TRIP representatives will only be accepting cash and checks as payment due to the cost of credit card transactions. Checks should be made payable to CSGK – TRIP. Your check is not a tax-deductible donation because you are receiving dollar for dollar value.
Non-sufficient fund checks will incur a fee of $20. The fee will be deducted from your TRIP earnings if available, or must be paid before you can place another TRIP order. If three NSF checks are tendered on your TRIP account in the same year, you will be suspended from ordering privileges.
How can credits be used? – Credit may be used only for tuition. If your child leaves the CSGK system for any reason, your TRIP credit may be used toward your outstanding tuition balance, toward another family’s account, or to the general fund.
When will the TRIP program be operated? - The program will run weekly during the school year except during Christmas and spring vacation. During the summer TRIP will be sold one night a week at Hackett.
Lost Certificates - Because the TRIP certificates are actual gift certificates, they are to be treated as cash. If certificates are lost or stolen, it is not possible to replace them.
