- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted. - Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 42” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!
From Fabric A, cut:one 3-1/2” x WOF strip. Subcut: nine 3-1/2” squares for the Block centers
From Fabric B, cut:two 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 3-1/2” rectangles for Piece 1
From Fabric C, cut:three 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 6-1/2” rectangles for Piece 2
From Fabric D, cut:three 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 6-1/2” rectangles for Piece 3
From Fabric E, cut:four 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 9-1/2” rectangles for Piece 4six 1-1/2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim: two 1-1/2” x 54-1/2” top/bottom inner borders two 1-1/2” x 56-1/2” top/bottom inner borders
From Fabric F, cut:four 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 9-1/2” rectangles for Piece 5
From Fabric G, cut:six 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 12-1/2” rectangles for Piece 6
From Fabric H, cut:six 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 12-1/2” rectangles for Piece 7

From Fabric I, cut:six 4-1/2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim: two 1-1/2” x 56-1/2” top/bottom outer borders two 1-1/2” x 64-1/2” top/bottom outer bordersnine 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 15-1/2” rectangles for Piece 8
From Fabric J, cut:nine 2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim to make: eighteen 2” x 15-1/2” rectangles for Piece 9
From Fabric K, cut:nine 2” x WOF strips. Subcut: eighteen 2” x 18-1/2” rectangles for Piece 10
From the Binding Fabric, cut:seven 2-1/2” x WOF strips
Step 1: Gather:One Fabric A Center squaretwo each of Piece 1- Piece 10
Step 2: Sew a Piece 1 strip to the top and bottom of the center square. Press away from the block center.
Step 3: Sew a Piece 2 strip to the left and right of the block. Press away from the block center.
Step 4: Sew a Piece 3 strip to the top and bottom of the block. Press away from the block center.
Assemble the Blocks
Step 5: Sew a Piece 4 strip to the left and right of the block. Press away from the block center.
Step 6: Sew a Piece 5 strip to the top and bottom of the block. Press away from the block center.
Step 7: Sew a Piece 6 strip to the left and right of the block. Press away from the block center.
Step 8: Sew a Piece 7 strip to the top and bottom of the block. Press away from the block center.
Step 9: Sew a Piece 8 strip to the left and right of the block. Press away from the block center.

Step 12: Arrange the blocks into three rows of three blocks. Note the fabric placement and block orientation in the Quilt Assembly Diagram.
Step 13: Sew the blocks together to form rows. Press the rows to the left in the odd numbered rows and to the right in the even numbered rows.
Step 14: Sew the rows together to form the quilt center. Press the row seams open.
Step 15: Sew the top and bottom inner borders to the quilt center. Press toward the borders. Sew the side inner borders to the sides of the quilt center. Press toward the borders.
Assemble the Quilt
Step 10: Sew a Piece 9 strip to the top and bottom of the block. Press away from the block center.
Step 11: Sew a Piece 10 strip to the left and right of the block. Press away from the block center.
The resulting Block should measure 18-1/2” square. Repeat to make nine Blocks.

Step 16: Sew the top and bottom outer borders to the quilt center. Press toward the borders. Sew the side outer borders to the sides of the quilt center. Press toward the borders.
Your quilt top is complete. Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
