The design of the PF5 luminaire provides convenient reversibility of the protector.Depending on the type of application, it can be inclined either at an angle of 0° or 13°.

The PF5 luminaire offers a wide range of reflectors. It can take up to three opticalcompartments simultaneously.

APPLICATIONS

All types of tunnel. Particularly suitable for tunnels subject to

aggressive environments (high humidity, snow clearing salts,

tunnels through high mountains.

Lighting installation options:

• Counter Beam and Pro Beam (entrance zone)

• Symmetrically (entrance zone and interior zone)

• Wall mounting.

ADVANTAGES

• Can be washed with a high pressure jet.

DESCRIPTION

Luminaire made of glass reinforced polyester composed of

two parts: a casing containing the reflector and a reversible

protector. This reversibility enables the PF5 to be installed with

the protector inclined at 0° or 13°.

Two closing levers mounted on the sides of the casing give

access to the control gear and the lamp.

A glass with extremely high thermal and mechanical

resistance is sealed into the protector frame.

The tightness of the luminaire (IP 66) - optical compartment

and control gear - is ensured by a double gasket with

chicanes.

The PF5 is a luminaire made from a composite material resistant to all types of cor-rosion, even where the environment is particularly aggressive (high humidity, snowclearing salts, tunnels through high mountains).

Two easily dismantled stainless steel axles allow the pro-tector to be reversed. Once the axles have been inserted,their position is locked.

Power supply interfacing possibilities:

• by compression glands: looped feed possible.

• by exit cable and moulded plug (3 or 5 contacts) that can be dismantled.

• by a moulded base (3 or 5 contacts) that can be dismantled.

PF5

Due to the fact that the lower and upper hinges match up, the PF5 protector is reversible. It can either be incli-ned or lie parallel to the casing. The PF5 with inclined protector is particularly ideal for wall mounted applica-tions. This device removes the necessity of installing the luminaire at an angle.

In other cases, the lamp can be accessed directly or via alampholder support plug.

Installation and replacement of the controlgear plate are facilitated by a retainingcable. The plate remains suspended aftertwo mounting screws have been undone.

The PF5 is a luminaire with front access. The luminaire opensvia two lateral stainless steel closing levers. Following thisoperation, the protector pivots around two hinges.

As an option, the PF5 can be fitted with closing levers incomposite material.

When the optical compartment is Sealsafe® (see lamp table),the lamp can be accessed by simple rotation of the lamphol-der support plug.
