Fiesta Lawn Weed Killer

Selective broadleaf weed, algae and moss control for use on a turf, non-crop areas, golf courses, parks, cemeteries and athletic fields. An iron formulation that is rainfast in 3 hours, safe for children and pets when dry and has no unpleasant odor. Susceptible weeds, moss or algae will turn brown or black. Apply to established turf only. Do not apply to newly seeded areas or to turf generated from seed that is less than one year old. Avoid spraying desirable plants. Any desirable plants or structures accidentally contacted should be rinsed with water, to avoid staining. Wait until treated area dries before re-entry.

Controls or suppresses: Dandelion, English Daisy, False dandelion, White clover, Black medic, Bull thistle, Canada thistle, Common chickweed, Creeping buttercup, Slender speedwell, Narrow-

leaved plantain, Dove’s foot geranium, Lawn burweed and Broad-leaved plantain. Apply up to 2 times per year, at least 4 weeks apart.

Gro-PowerAll of the basic products contain true plant-based (below fibrous stage) Humus, Humic Acids and beneficial soil bacteria. Gro-Power is designed to increase the soil’s fertility by adding high quality organic matter (Humus) and beneficial soil micro-organisms back into the soil. This all natural product contains concentrated vinegar (Acetic Acid) plus a Yucca based wetting agent to help the spray stick to the plants you want to control. No other chemical additives. This is your product of choice for a non-selective spray herbicide for vegetation control in and around established trees and shrubs, sidewalks, driveways, non-crop areas, right-of way and industrial land sites. Leaves no harmful residue in the soil.

Natural Weed Control Solutions

With cosmetic pesticide bans in place across Canada we have a few natural solutions such as corn gluten meal to use. Corn gluten has to be applied as a pre-emergence herbicide. The timing for a product like corn gluten meal is early spring. For best results either apply corn gluten meal when rain is expected or water the product in within 2 days of application.

Amaizingly Green corn gluten contains pre-emergent herbicidal properties and is a non selective seed germination inhibitor. Do not use within 6 weeks before or after overseeding as it will inhibit seed germinating.

Apply in mid April to May, again in June to July and finally in September to October for 3 applications a year. Granular corn gluten can be used as pre-emergent weed control in planting beds and turf.

Formulations Available:

Amaizeingly Green™ 10-0-0 Weed & FeedSpecifically formulated for turf care. Apply in early Spring when the soil temperature reaches 12C or before Dandelion or Crabgrass germinate. Apply again in mid Summer and early Fall at a rate of 20lbs / 1000 sq. ft.

Amaizeingly Green™ 9-1-1 Turf Fertilizer with Kelp increases resistance to drought, fungal disease, stabilizes chlorophyll and adds micro nutrients.

Amaizeingly Green™ 8-1-1 Turf Fertilizer with Neem CakeHelps to reduce alkalinity in soil, improves soil ecology and fertility and assists with soil texture, water holding capacity and aeration.

Amaizingly Green™ Liquid Corn Gluten with or without KelpCan be used in and around flowers, perennial plants, annual and perennial bulbs, ornamental trees and shrubs, rose gardens and woody or herbaceous plants. The liquid corn gluten covers more area than dry products and has the option of the addition of water soluble fertilizer. Shelf life of 60 days.

Summer FertilizersTerraLink’s fertilizers are blended in BC, and are designed for specific soil and climate conditions. We offer a wide variety of turfgrass and landscape fertilizers tailored for every use and season: Organic based or conventional as well as those that perform in either cool or hot conditions. Your fertilizer will work the best when your soil is in the 6.3 – 6.5 pH range. Check your pH and adjust this in the fall with an application of lime if required.

The following are our most common and economical turfgrass fertilizers that can be used throughout the Spring and Summer:

Balanced Spring and Balanced Summer 23-3-23Same formulation but with two different slow release nitrogen sources. Spring blend with 55% UFlexx and the Summer blend with 60% Methylene 80 controlled release nitrogen specifically designed for warmer times of year. Both offer prolonged green-up and reduced leaching.

30-3-15 with 70% UMaxx - A high nitrogen, highly controlled release fertilizer for use on golf courses, sports fields and landscapes. Contains 70%

controlled release nitrogen from UMaxx stabilized urea. UMaxx reduces urea volatilization and nitrate leaching which results in minimal surge growth and prolonged colour response up to 14 weeks. Potassium assists turf in summer heat tolerance, winter cold tolerance plus disease resistance. A high analysis fertilizer that provides green up along with long term nitrogen availability.

32-4-8 with 60% UFlexx - A high nitrogen, controlled release fertilizer designed for use on golf course fairways, landscapes and sports fields throughout the spring and summer months. Contains 60% controlled release nitrogen from UFlexx stabilized urea. Stabilized urea minimizes urea volatilization and nitrate leaching, leaving more available nitrogen for turf grass uptake. Use of UFlexx results in minimal surge growth and prolong colour response for up to 10 weeks. An economical summer fertilizer due to its low application rate.
