Arrive into Florence at your leisure. Following check-in to the stunning first hotel of your trip – Il Salviatino – you can make the most of your afternoon exploring the hotel and it's amenities, or venture into Florence to stroll the streets of old town. In the afternoon our representative will meet you for a detailed handover of your chosen supercar.
The next morning you will begin your first full day of driving. The drive begins with the beautiful tarmac of a strade statali road that will take you from Florence out into the Tuscan countryside. From here you will spend the afternoon tracing the hills around San Gimignano, enjoying the fast flowing country backroads and scenic backdrop for which the region is famed. In the afternoon you will arrive into Castello di Casole, the stunning five-star property that will be your home for the next two evenings.
On the second day of the drive you will enjoy a morning loop on the more technical roads to the south of Sienna. In the afternoon you will be chauffeured to a small but celebrated vineyard near San Gimignano where you will meet a local expert and their furry companion, who will be your truffle hunting guides. For the next couple of hours you will explore the serene local forests searching out these natural treasures, after which you will enjoy a cooking class highlighting the flavours of the truffles that were found, along with a wine tasting of a series of special local productions.
Your third and final day of the drive will take you back to Florence via the stunning country backroads that criss-cross Chianti. Enjoy flowing tarmac and sweeping turns as you traverse the picturesque vine-covered hillsides of the region. Upon your return to Il Salviatino you can trade car keys for a glass of champagne and celebrate an unforgettable couple of days.
On the final morning of your holiday, you can enjoy a well earned sleep-in and leisurely start to the day before onward travel plans.
