Teen drama - Some Girls

The new teen drama – some girls is based on a group of four, 16 year old girls, studying A-Levels who are good friends, living around the same estate in South London. These four girls are quite different but show viewers different stereotypes of young girls and what they get up to, how they express themselves and peer pressure in the friendship group. This drama contains humour throughout which creates good entertainment for viewers as many viewers can relate.

Period/Costume drama – Downton Abbey

Downton Abbey is a historical drama about a British family which is time based in 1912 when the titanic sank. The family’s future is in jeopardy because the male last of the throne had died and there was nobody to take his place as his son had died on the titanic ship. Throughout the series the search carries on for the next male to take the king’s place and great wars are acted during this series. E.g. World War 1 with Britain and Germany.

Police/Crime drama – Luther

Luther is based in Great Britain, and is about a chief detective trying to accomplish the finding and reasoning’s of crime and death. However, Luther can come into a dark place in his job and become very violent.
