There are 4 holes on the back of every flat screen TV and the space between the holes is governed by the VESA standard. VESA comes in a range of sizes depending on the weight and size of the flat screen TV; sizes 50 x 50mm, 75 x 75mm, 100 x 100mm, 100 x 200mm and so on... are standard. Not all flat screen TVs are compliant, contact the TV manufacturer for assistance if your TV does not appear to comply with VESA. Components

Wall Mount & VESA Compatibility• VESA is the standard adopted by most TV manufacturers for wall bracket mounting.

• There are 4 holes on the back of every flat screen TV and the space between the holes is governed by the VESA standard.

• VESA comes in a range of sizes depending on the weight and size of the flat screen TV; sizes 50 x 50mm, 75 x 75mm, 100 x 100mm, 100 x 200mm and so on... are standard. Not all flat screen TVs are compliant, contact the TV manufacturer for assistance if your TV does not appear to comply with VESA.

• To check if your TV or monitor is compliant, look at the rear of the display there should be 4 screw-holes in a square pattern or in larger displays a rectangular shape. See Fig. 2 opposite, with VESA mounting points shown in white circles.

• Measure the distances marked (2) (horizontal) x (1) (vertical) in mm to find your VESA format.

Attach the adaptor brackets and supporting spacers C & D to the TV. Four each of two lengths of M4, M5, M6, and M8 mounting bolts are provided M-A , M-B , M-C , M-D , M-E , M-F , M-G and M-H . Attach the adaptor brackets and supporting spacers C & D to the VESA mounting holes use the size which fits your TV. Use longer lengths and plastic spacers M-M or M-N for TV’s with curved or recessed back panels as shown in Fig. 11.

If you are mounting a television with a flat back you can use a shorter bolt and will not need a plastic spacer, see Fig. 12. Make sure all four bolts are properly tightened and held in place by at least three full turns.

Before mounting your TV check that it will be possible to make all necessary connections when it is in position, if not make the connections now. With the help of another person, carefully slide the adaptor brackets C (now attached to the TV) down into the wall plates A & B , see Fig. 13. Do not release the TV until the adaptor brackets C are securely located in the wall plates A & B .To adjust the horizontal angle of the display, hold both sides of display firmly and gently rotate it into the desired position, see Fig. 14PLEASE NOTE: For larger/heavier TVs always ask someone to assist you with lifting and positioning your TV.

Use larger spacer with M8 bolt

Make sure bolts are screwed into the back of the screen with at least 3 full turns

FixingtoWood(StudWalls)Use a good quality stud sensor to locate the centres of two adjacent upright studs in the area where you want to mount your screen (the centre of each stud is usually approx. 400mm apart). It is a good idea to verify where the studs are located with an awl or thin nail and mark the centre position with a vertical line. Peel the paper from the back of the double sided tape on the template supplied and line up the dotted lines on the template with the centre point of your two studs, making sure the template is level (use a spirit level) see Fig. 3 & 4. The two wall plates A & B are attached to the wall using two appropriate screws each, as shown in Fig. 5 & 6. Make sure the screws are suitable for wood and large enough to support the weight of the TV and mount (if in doubt ask for advice at your local DIY/hardware store and remember to make sure that the heads of the screws are the correct size to hold the wall plates securely in position).Use the hole positions marked on the template to drill holes into the stud wall - Please Note: you just need to drill the two holes top and bottom closest to the dotted line on the template as shown in Fig. 5 & 6 (the third hole marked is not used). After drilling remove the template and screw the wall plates A & B onto the wall making sure the screws are properly tightened. FixingtoConcrete/BrickWallsAs with attaching to wood, the template is used to make sure your drill holes are accurately located. You should also make sure the holes are drilled into brick or stone and not into mortar courses. For fixing wall plates A & B to brick walls use three sets of screws/bolts, washers and wall plugs suitable for the type of wall you are mounting on to (if in doubt ask for advice at your local DIY/hardware store and remember to make sure that the heads of the screws/bolts are the correct size to hold the wall plates A & B securely in position), see Fig. 7-9. After drilling remove the template and screw/bolt the wall plates A & B onto the wall making sure the screws/bolts are properly tightened.

Make sure left and right plates are the right way round
