We produce commercial golf and grounds maintenance equipment used at premier venues around the world.

Automate customer product information or demonstration requests and send directly to our network of 30 distributors in North America.

Task

  Contact submits form and confirmation email is sent

  Form data is written to contact record /sent to a custom data object

  Contact is automatically assigned to a distributor based on zip code table (ftp)

  Contact’s industry number is assigned   R1 Cloud Connector is activated and reads

CDO, contact and external data (from ftp).   Processed data from the connector is sent

back to the data card which fires the emails and clears the data card when completed

Process

  Distributor – Action required email is sent   Toro Sales – Notification email is sent   Toro Marketing – Notification email is sent

Results

This process has resulted in a large productivity gain for our marketing group. It works for all of our 80+ products from multiple forms on our many web properties.
