TWEET: The actual message you post on Twitter. Must be a maximum of 140 Characters Long (including links +

hashtags)

HASHTAG (#): This symbol helps you organize your tweets by TOPIC/SUBJECT. When you use #Entrepreneur, your tweet will post both on YOUR TIMELINE, as well as a page dedicated to the TOPIC of “Entrepreneur”. This is a

VERY EFFECTIVE WAY of maximizing your TWEET’s (or Message’s) Visibility.

TWER-MINOLOGY?

The “@” Symbol: Similar to Facebook, this is a way of “TAGGING” other users, so your TWEET makes it to their

notification page. A way of grabbing someone’s attention.

FAVORITE (Star Symbol) : This is similar to the “LIKE” button on FB. However, all of your “Favorited” Tweets are

organized in one file on Twitter.

RETWEET (Recycling-Type Symbol): The “Retweet” button is similar to Facebook’s “SHARE” button. You “Retweet” another’s Tweet (or Post) when you wish to SHARE that

post with your followers).

REPLY (Singular arrow): A “Reply” on Twitter is similar to Facebook’s “COMMENT” button. You “Reply” to a Tweet

when you want to add your perspective, or acknowledge the author directly in some way.

people you’ve followed on a spreadsheet, and track which influencer’s page they came from and IF they followed you back*
