Friends of Mrs. Alford Austin, wife of the Delaware county sheriff, are sorry to hear that she is in the Bassett hospital at Coop-£rstown for observation. Mrs. Austin has been in poor health for several weeks.
Miss Vera Bundage, who spent the past ten days at Rainbow lake in the Adirondacks, returned home on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Miller and daughter. Miss Mar-garet, accOTipanied here here and were Monday overnight guests at the Brundage home.

TTie Amos reunion held at the home of W. S. Thomson last Wednesday was well attended and all report a fine time. After the business meeting an electicm of officers was held. Interesting speedies were made by the follow-ing: Rev. Marvin J. Thomson, D. D., Rev. J. A. Hiomson, Dr. J. Claude Th(Hnson, and Miss Mabel Thomson. Dr. J. Claude Thcanson gave a very interesting talk about his work in the university and the war conditions in China. The Amos reum(m will be held next year with Mrs. George Mughlig in Walton.
Dr. and Mrs. J. EL Gladstone and daughter, Jean, and Mrs. Ella Lamoureux spent Simday visiting relatives in Scranton, Pa.

Mrs. Anna Glotzbach of San Antonio, Texas, and Miss Frances E. Herbredit of Chicago, who have spent the past month visiting friends and relatives in Margaret-ville, left on Wednesday for their respective homes.
