RESERVED— OVERNIGHT

• Gates open Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. On Friday, Saturday & Sunday gates will open at 6:00 am & close at 8:00 am & Reopen at 4:00 pm.

• Parking will be on a first come basis. Those wishing to park together must arrive to-gether. There will be no saving of spaces.

• All parking will be on Pavement.

• Overnight parking will be limited.

• No overnight parking except in overnight parking area

• Parking fee is $40.00 per night. Spaces 23’ W x 40 feet long, If over 40 ft it will be $50.00. No power available.

• All vehicles must be SELF-CONTAINED.

• No discharging of gray water on premises.

• Dogs are not allowed outside overnight.

• No overnight handicapped parking is offered. Every effort will be made to locate handi-cap nearest the rings. LIMITED Day of Show Handicap Parking available.

• QUIET TIME!! Generators off between the hours of 11:00 p.m. & 6:00 a.m. (Except in an emergency).

• Bring your own shade. No spiking or stakes will be allowed anywhere on the grounds. Bring weights to secure all canopies and tents.

• No “Set-Ups” are allowed in Day of Show Parking. BOX VAN PARKING - cannot exceed 30 feet long. NO EXCEPTIONS, and no overnight in Box Van Area. No parking extra car next to Box Van, park in day parking area.

HOURS: Thursday, 3:00 pm to 10 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 8:00am, Friday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Saturday (Box Vans) 6:00 am to 7:00 am, Saturday 6:00 an to 10:00 am, Sunday 6:00 am to 7 pm. All parking is at you own risk. The Clubs and their management assume no responsibility for fires, theft and loss or damage to any rig, vehicle or its cargo. Overnight parking/Day of Show parking is a privilege extended by SSKC. Any arguing, abusive language or failure to follow the rules and/or instructions of parking officials may cause withdrawal of all parking privi-leges without refund of fees and possible discipline by the Show Committee.

Bred- By-Exhibitor class eligibility; 1.) All dogs entered in the Bred-By-Exhibitor Class must be individually registered with the AKC. 2.) the person handling the dog must be a breeder of record of the dog and an owner of record of the dog, and 3.) family members must be both a breeder and owner of record to exhibit in this class.

Best Bred-By-Exhibitor Parade of Titleholders Entry Fee is $12.00. Poodles that are AKC Champions of Record or holders of AKC recog-nized titles may be entered in the Parade of Titleholders. Poodles entered in the Parade of Titleholders CANNOT be entered in any of the breed classes at this show. Poodles so entered will be presented with a Rosette imprinted with the dog’s name. Arriving from the North (Utah) Drive South on I-15 and get off on Exit 40 (SAHARA AVENUE) - Go east on Sahara and go past Las Vegas Blvd, the next street is Paradise turn right and go until you see the sign to Turn right in the Riviera. Take 93/95 to I-15 Merge onto I-15 South Via Exit 76A toward Los Angeles Drive South on I-15 and take Exit 40 (SAHARA AVENUE) Go east on Sahara and go past Las Vegas Blvd, the next street is Paradise turn right and go until you see the sign to Turn right in the Riviera. the club. 9. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified,

sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, barred from competition by action of the Bench Show Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate en-try. There will be a $2.00 fee charge for cancellation entry prior to closing of entries.

10. There is no provision offered for un-entered dogs at this show. 11. Declination of Entries. The Poodle Club of Las Vegas may decline any entries

for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of dis-ease, viciousness or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Kennel Club or any official thereof.

12. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management, it becomes impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made.

13. A Recording Fee of 50 cents per dog and an Event Service Fee of $3.00 is included in the entry fee and will be required for each entry at any Liccensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. These fees are to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club (AKC Rule, Ch 11, Sec 2).

14. Dogs which according to their owners’ records have completed the require-ments for a championship after closing of entries for the show but whose championship are unconfirmed, may be transferred from one of the regular classes to Best of Breed or Variety Competition, provided this transfer is made by the Event Secretary at least one half hour prior to the start of the earliest Conformation judging at the Show.

15. These will be “self Cleaning” shows. Cleaning equipment will ne provided at various locations. Your Help in providing a better show environment is re-quested and appreciated.

16. All rights to advertise, publicize, televise, photograph or otherwise promote this cluster or any part thereof are vested in each individual club on its show date or in persons to whom assignment of such rights have been made in writ-ing by authorized officers of a particular Club. All persons and animals on the Show Site at any time while the shows are in progress do, by attending and/or participating therein, grant to each club the right to photograph, televise, audio-tape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or concent.

DOG LEFT IN PARKED CARS In the event that it becomes necessary to rescue an animal from a parked car on the show grounds or parking areas immediately surrounding the show grounds, The Poodle Club of Las Vegas and Silver State KC will not be held liable for any damages incurred as a result of rescuing the animal. Furthermore, If the rescue has to be performed by virtue of negligence, the owner, agent or any other person responsible for the rescued animal WILL be subjected to a Bench Show Hearing, as approved by the rules of the AKC.

PUPPY SWEEPSTAKES (A.M. ONLY)

The Sweepstakes is open to all Poodles that, on the day of the show, will be at least 6 months of age and Under 18 months of age.. “Sweepstakes and “age” division must be indicated in the space for addi-tional Classes on the official AKC entry form. The entry fee is $18.00 .Dogs must also be entered in one of the regular classes at this show. A Champion of Record or a Champion according to the owner’s records, as of the closing date and time of show, may not be entered in Puppy Sweepstakes. The first place winner in each class of each variety, will compete for Best of Variety in Puppy Sweepstakes, Best Variety winners will compete for Best in Puppy Sweepstakes. Poodle Puppy Prizes and Money: Division of Entry Money as Prizes. The PCLV will retain 35% of the total entryfee. The remaining 65% will be distributed as follows:

VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES (A.M.ONLY) The following classes are divided by sex

11 years and older Entry fee is $18.00 for Poodle entered in Veteran Sweepstakes, whether as a first entry or additional entry. Poodles must be 7 yrs of age and older. Entrants may be spayed or neutered. Entry in another class is not required. They will be judged in accordance with regular breed judging regulations. “Sweepstakes” and “age” division must be indicated.

Acceptable clips for Veteran Sweepstakes Entrants: Any clip with the exception of designer or grooming contest clip. Face and feet shaved; ear’s may be tasseled, feathered or shaved; tail may have pompom or short blanket of hair. NO FANCY ADORNMENTS (e.g. collars, bows, bandannas, etc) No clip that would have the Poodle resemble any other breed.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Entries MUST reach the Event Secretary, Jean Ryser, 2875 Montessouri St, Las Vegas, NV 89117-3051 by 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Fees MUST accompany entries. Make Checks payable to: The Poodle Club of Las Vegas, Inc. This club and/or the event secretary assume no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or agent of the owner. This club or event secretary assume no responsibility for the owner or owner’s agents entering a dog in a class in which the dog is not eligible to compete, or entering the same dog twice.

2. Returned Checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The club will add a $25.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned check for the same exhibitor may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. The returned check MUST BE MADE GOOD by cash or money order BE-FORE the dog will be allowed in the ring.

3. Exhibitors’ Identification tickets and judging program will be mailed to the address given on the entry blank. If not received within a reasonable time prior to the show, notify the event secretary. Tickets returned by the Post Office marked “undeliverable” will be held at the event secretary’s office. PLEASE BRING YOUR INDENTIFICATION TICKETS TO THE SHOW.

4. During the hours of judging owners are to be on call, and have their dogs ready to bring into the judging ring promptly, in order that the judging will not be delayed. Dogs need only be present for their judging. Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have his dog ready to be shown and at the entrance of judging ring when the steward calls for the class. Owners of dogs or the handler of the dogs alone are respon-sible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. This means it is not the responsibility of the ring steward, or of the agent of the show-giving club to locate any dog. Its owner or handle, when the dog’s presence is needed in a judging ring. It should ne understood by every exhibitor and handler, waiting for dogs to be brought into the ring is a courtesy extended to the owner or han-dler of the dog. There is no rule of this club or of the American Kennel Club that requires a judge to wait for an owner or handler to bring his dog into the ring.

5. Trophies will be awarded in the judging ring. In the event of any discrepancy from the published prize list the Show Chairman should be advised at once. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed.

6. Exhibitors are admonished to make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this premium List. This clubs agrees to arbitrate set forth on the official AKC entry form. 7. The Club, Its event secretary or their employees will not be responsible for the loss of or injury to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. And in addition, no responsibility will be assumed for any loss, damage or injury sustained by an owner, exhibitor, handler or spectator.

8. No grooming tables, pens or exhibitors setups will be allowed in the aisles and all grooming must be done away from the judging ring in areas specified by
