Eudlo Creek Geotextile Sand Bag Erosion Mitigation Structure

♦ Preparation of Resource Allocation Authority and Prescribed Tidal Works applications for the construction of a geotextile sand bag wall in a declared fish habitat, including liaison with all relevant government agencies.

♦ Coordination of documentation including designs.

♦ Responsible for liaising with Sunshine Coast Council and State Assessment and Referral Agency staff to organise submission.

Sunshine Cove Kayak Port Facility

♦ Project management for the detailed design of a kayak launch platform into Sunshine Cove lake and a portage facility over a weir structure to enable kayakers to access Cornmeal Creek;

♦ Preparation of development applications.

Penny Lane Revetment Wall

♦ Project management for the detailed design of a grouted stone pitched revetment structure located in a small inlet off Parrearra Channel;

♦ Preparation of development application and application for owner’s consent.

Mooloolaba Beach Sandbag Wall

♦ Project management for the detailed design of a geotextile sandbag revetment structure located along Mooloolaba Beach;

♦ Preparation of development application and application for owner’s consent.

Nelson Park Lake – Water Quality Investigation

♦ Identified the catchment area and calculated flow rate into Nelson Park Lake;

♦ Involvement in the design of the trial floating wetland (i.e. size and location);

♦ Other tasks include client consultation, site inspections, arranging water quality tests to be conducted after installation of floating wetland, and preparation of report.

Fitzroy Region Redevelopment of Highways

♦ Soil testing undertaking various tests including maximum dry density relationship, particle size distribution, Atterberg limits and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer tests.

♦ Determination of cement content of cement treated base through heat of neutralisation test.

♦ Data entry and interpretation of results.
