What You’ll Need That’s in Your STEAM Kit:

• Paper Airplane Directions • 3 Colored Sheets of Paper

Airplane Name: Water Plane This plane is made to look like a boat. It glides through the air as a boat glides through the water.

Step 1: Fold the paper in half and in

half again.

Step 2: Open the sheet and then fold the top of the sheet down about 3”.

Step 3: Fold the top two corners as

shown above.

Step 4: Open the sheet, and notice the

triangles as outlined above.

Step 5: Unfold and then fold along the

lines of the triangles.

Step 6: Crease the triangle lines well.

Your paper should now look like this.

Step 7: Fold the top flaps to the center line.

Step 8: Fold the paper in half.

Step 9: Fold both sides out to create the

wings.

Step 10: Fly your paper airplane.

Step 11: Improve using the Engineering Design Process shown on the Stable Plane sheet.

Decorate your Paper Airplane, Water Plane, with markers, colored pencils, or crayons.

Take photos of your Paper Airplane and email them to [email protected] We’ll post them to our website!

Paso 9: Dobla ambos lados hacia fuera
