Type 897 PrinterThe 897 is a fully air-operated cold transfer printer, ideally suited for printing multi-line information on any Kwik Lok® closure used with Type 872, 873, 893 and 865 Bag Closing Machines.

Type can consist of prices, dates, codes, logos, lot numbers, and a wide variety of other printed information that may be required on your package. The printer operates at a fixed speed, imprinting up to 120 closures per minute. The speed of the printer is dependent on the speed of the bag closing machine.

897A is used on 872 XLS, 872 XLS LM, 872 XLS PB and 873 AB Bag Closing Machines.

897B is used on 893A Bag Closing Machines

897C is used on 865AA, 865AB, 865AC and 865AD Bag Closing Machines.

EASY OPERATION

All of the controls are conveniently located on one panel. There are just three items controlled by the machine operator, which are:

•On/Off Switch•Printing Foil Advance Knob•Print Pressure Knob

There is clear access for type changeover and printing foil replacement, complete with an operator safety door.

The 897 utilizes steel type and a dry cold-transfer tape for printing. One roll of tape will provide up to 40,000 impressions (depending on information printed). The imprinter features an air-driven printing head that insures distinct, durable impressions every time, and provides a tape feed adjustment that reduces the amount of tape used to a minimum. Absolutely no waste. The 897 will print on all Kwik Lok® automatically applied closures and closure-labels at speeds up to 120 per minute.

The tape is a dry, non-smearing type that won’t soil the machinery or operator. Each roll provides up to 48,000 imprints.
