UPC-A: It is 12 numeric code including multiwidth andcheck digits. It consists readable black bars and whitespaces.UPC-E: It is 8 numeric code including multi width andcheck digit. It is variation of UPC-A and more compactby eliminating extra zero.

EAN (European Article Numbering code )EAN- EAN is European Article Numbering code developed inNorth America . It was developed as a supermarket of UPC. It is1D code which is used for product of retail industry. It includes13 or 8 digit number. It includes extra digit on start of every UPCnumber.

EAN-13- it is super set of UPC-A code, Includes 13numbers, consists 0 on start of UPC-A. it has multiwidth and check digits.EAN-8: it is variation of EAN code, includes 8numbers. It consists of multi width and check digits.

Coda BarCodabar- Codabar was developed by Pitney Bowes in 1972. This type ofbarcode is discrete, self checking symbology. It encodes 16 differentcharacters and 4 start/ stop characters. This symbology is used by U.S bloodbanks, photo labs, fedEx and airbills.

Code-11: It is 20 numeric code including wide/ narrow checkdigits. It encodes any length string, consists digit(0-9), dash(-),and start and stop character.

Code-39: First alphanumeric barcode symbology, thatencodes 39-43 characters, letters(A-Z), digit (0-9).

Code-128: it is very high density barcode symbology, it is128 alphanumeric
