Entity Project Title Objectives

Award Palm Engineering Sdn Bhd

An integrated processor and palletizer system

for oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB)

1. The project shall focus into the design and fine-tuning of a viable pre-commercial prototype Biomass Processor & palletizer System for Oil Palm Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB).

2. The project shall enable the creation of a value-added processed EFB of a consistent quality well suited for subsequent targeted downstream commercial utilization, including EFB pallets.

Agrovery Sdn Bhd

Liquid Immersion Bioreactor (LIB) method

to generate MD2 pineapple plantlet for nutturing farmers in

Malaysia

1. Innovate and apply the Liquid Immersion Bioreactor (LIB) method, for the tissue culture and planting of this MD2 variety in Malaysia. With this innovation, will enable MD2 variety to be successfully and competitively planted locally for export market regionally, thus reviving our competitiveness in this industry.

2. Developing the cultivation of MD2 variety to be a profitable business in Malaysia and thus raising the income of pineapple farmers.

3. Possible collaboration with NGO and/or government agencies to train and develop young farmers to venture into MD2 planting and thus creating an industry cluster, and provide job and create wealth in the nation.

4. With the innovation of such tissue culture method and better planting technique, this will significantly increase the output of food and fruits.
