In autumn is typical to go to the forest to look for mushrooms with families or friends. It is an entertaining activity

The “CASTANYADA”

It is a typical festival celebrated in Catalonia on October 31st with the family or friends. It consists in eating chestnuts and small cakes called panellets.

THE pastorets “SHEPHERDS”

It’s typical to attend a performance of «the shepherds» in a theatre on Christmas day. The plot combines the contents of the birth of Jesus and adventures between shepherds, angels and demons

THE CORREFOCS “Fire-runs”

In these street festivals a group of individuals dressed as devils lit fireworks. They set off their fireworks among crowds of spectators.
