Masthead – this font is serif, this shows that the type of magazine is aimed at a higher audience/ more educated audience. From this font I can infer that it is a magazine based off of facts rather than things like celebrity scandal and so on.

Coverline – although this coverline is san serif it is still in a bold and professional style, keeping with the idea that this is aimed at a higher audience.

Masthead – this font is san serif. From this I have interpreted that this is aimed at an audience that is on the lower half of the registrar scale.

Coverline – this font is different to the masthead, although it is the same colour as the masthead, this is because it is the house style of the magazine.

Tag line- this is the same font as the coverline described below but it is smaller because it is not considered to be more important than the masthead or the coverline.

Masthead – the font of this masthead allows me to interpret that this magazine is aimed at a young audience. I came to this conclusion due to the font being san serif and the fact that one of the letters in it are angled, this is quite a childish feature proving that is aimed at a younger audience. This is the biggest text on the page so that it draws the reader into the magazine.

Puff – this font looks like it has been hand written. This is also a rather childish feature on the magazine again proving that it is aimed at a younger audience.

Masthead – this font is serif. As we can tell this magazine is based off of something that is not gossip, this is why a serif font is used because it is more of a serious magazine focusing on real life whereas other magazines, such as heat, focus on the media world.

This font is not in serif because it is only used to attract the reader to the magazine, which is why it is also in bold, so that the reader can easily read what the coverline is about. This is also why this is the biggest text on the page, usually we would see the masthead being the largest text on the page, although this magazine is different, obviously this magazines core values are to attract the reader via the main story in the magazine.

The main article from this page is in serif font. From this I have interpreted that this magazine, or at very least this article is aimed at an audience that is of a higher: education, class, social status.

This font is san serif, from this I can infer that the audience that this article is aimed at and possibly the whole magazine is that of the lower half of the registrar scale. I have inferred this because if the font was serif it would be aimed at an audience that is more educated. This does not mean that people who the magazine is not aimed at cannot read the magazine, but the general target audience is the main readership of the magazine.
