ThE FuTuRE OF DAnCE iS hEREAbout:

This year Leeds will host the national youth dance festival; u.Dance 2013. The festival celebrates outstanding new dance talent from across the country and invites you to join in the celebration. Seven distinctive public performances in high profile venues across the city have been programmed alongside a series of workshops, dance film screenings and a vibrant dance photography exhibition in the Leeds Gallery.

Over 700 young people from across Britain will be welcomed to Leeds over the 3 days, it is set to be an exciting event and you won’t see anything else like it this year.

Workshop package 1

Raising Choreographic Standards for Dance Performance

Youth Dance CapturedIn his first exhibition, photographer Brian Slater will exhibit a series of his beautiful youth dance photography taken over his 22 years of experience. The exhibition will take place from the 16th – 21st July at the Leeds Gallery.
