The 3008 series channcl inputs cover all the options-microohone and line level, balanced and unbalanced,XIR ind quartcr-inch connectots, an insert jack foreffects, and switchable phantom power for phantom-powered condenser microPhones. The first 8 input channels are further equipped withmultitrack Tape returns. The Trim potconsists of two concentric con$ols rhat allow independ-ent settings for Mic and Line level. Thanks to thesecontrols, thcre's no need to reset your trim if you'techanging back and fonh between Mic and Line inputs.

A 3-band equalizer on each channel provides preciseronal shaping of input signals. The hrgh-frequencycontrol is a shelving-type EQ allowing the 12 dB boostor cut er 10 kHz. The mid.frequency control is swcep-tvDe and coverc the fieoucncies b€twcen 200 Hz and{ktlz. ttt dB. The loi-frequency control is sweepablefrom t0 Hz to 1 kHz, tlt dB. If desired, the EQ sec-tion can be bypasscd entirely with the EQ "On" button.

The chanoel module controls makc it easy to routeany input signal to any of the l00B Scrics' submixsystems, including rhe four P(ogram Group and masteiStereo outpur, rhe rwo Aux submixes, the Effccts sub-mix and the Solo sysrem. There are level controls for rheEffects and Aux sysrems. The principle channel levelcontrol is a long-rhrow 100 mm fader which is easilyficld-replaceablc wirh Penny & Giles faders and otherpopular brands.

Each output offers a separate Insert jackfor processing rhe f inal mix, and a choite of XLRlbalinced or-unbalancedl and a pair of RCA jacks. Wirhrhis convenient selection of connetors. rhc 300B Seri€s isrcady to interface with a broad rangc of output deveices-from P,A, svstems to taDe machines,

The outpirts and masier controls for each of th€ i'J00B Seriei submix systems provrde an unprecedentednumber of oprions. Mxter controls for rhe Aux submixsvstcm consist of one output and one master Level con-tiol for each of thc lwo Aux busses. As for the Effectssubmix system, thcre are two Effects rcturns, cach withits own Level and Pan controls. Each Effecrs rerurn canbe routed to the master Stereo outputs,

The meterscan also be usJd to moniror the level of valous mputsignals (such as rhe Tapr Return inpur. l . Each mererdisplays average srgnal level and also int ludes a PeakIndicator LED that fires at flo Vll. This allows youto rstimate rhe "peak to avcrage" ratio of your aignal

The 3008 Series' extensive Solo system allows convenrenttroublcshoocing and fine tuning of channel settings atany time during a live show or recording scssion wirhourinierrupting the program. The input Solo and the EffectReturn Solo are PIL (Pre Fader Listen), so you can iden'dfy and audition any signal before bringing it inro themix. The output Solo is AFL (After Fader Listen).
