A native of Middletown, NY, 21-year old rapper U-Neek has shown that he can hold his own among the big-name, big-city artists. While he has already drawn comparisons to Fabolous and Jadakiss, U-Neek maintains that he is just that – unique.
He’s had time to hone his signature style, since he’s been rapping and recording from the age of 10. But it wasn’t until 2009 that his talent was confirmed, when he had his very first performance at Sofa Lounge in the Bronx. Since then, he’s been rocking stage after stage, landing performances at Liquid Ice Nightclub in New York City, and the reknown Times Square Center.
With a fast-approaching release date for a compilation album under Thorough Records, where he will be featured, as well as for his own mixtape, U-Neek is ready to make his years of hard work known and gain much-deserved respect in the music industry. With his first single, “Ghetto”, already paving the way, he already has two more hit singles under his belt, “Watch My Back” and “Prove It featuring Lil' Kim“.
In addition to continuing to tour and perform live, U-Neek can also be seen on “The Thorough Life”, an upcoming reality show featuring him and his fellow labelmates, and highlighting their ups and downs as they journey toward success.
