VIA THE LUA BREEDING PROGRAM

The one time (1973) cross of a Pointer and an AKC Dalmatian has provided for us the Normal DOMINANT Canine Uric Acid Gene.

LUA Dalmatians have a 6X to 10X lower urinary uric acid level, which may upgrade the Health of our AKC Dalmatians by reducing the chances of forming urate crystals, bladder stones or urinary obstructions.

You may incorporate LUA Dalmatians by performing a single mating to an LUA Dalmatian and still preserve AKC Dalmatian ancestry according to the generation selected.

The Pedigree of a 12th Generation LUA Dalmatian has 8178 AKC Dalmatians. The Pedigree of a 10th Generation LUA Dalmatian has 2036 AKC Dalmatians.
