Clothing and Footwear Collection: 1. Any brand and type of clothing and footwear is accepted including scarves, hats, gloves, handbags and belts. 2. Designate a box in the stockroom for the recycled goods. 3. As stores begin to receive recycled goods, place them into the designated box. The goods can remain in the

bag the customer brought them in. IMPORTANT: Please do not place anything else besides the recycled goods in the box (no trash, hangers, polybags, banners, etc.).

4. Once the box is full, send to the Kentucky Distribution Center at the below address using UPS CampusShip via Ground Shipping and label the box with the blue sticker provided “RESOURCED PRODUCT FOR I:CO RECYCLING”. Stores will receive the stickers by Tuesday, June 19 via UPS.

5. Note: Please ensure the box is full before sending; only full boxes will be accepted. Repeat this process until further notice.

Damage Collection: GUESS manufactured merchandise intended for monthly donation may no longer be donated to your local non- profit. Process damaged merchandise per the normal donation procedure and ship to the KYDC along with I:CO recycled product. When creating the UPS CampusShip label, ensure you type RESOURCED (in all caps) in Reference Field # 1 and Reference Field # 2 as shown below:

The approver must verify the units processed through the POS matches the total number of units in the clear plastic bag/carton and verify the transfer to location number is correct. 11. The manager completing the process must seal the clear plastic bag and shipping box with 3” striped packing tape immediately after the second signature.

Other FAQs:

What should I say if a customer asks if this is a donation or if it is going to charity? A customer’s contributed items do not go directly to a charity. They are channeled into a circular process that finds the next best use for each used shoe and item of clothing. The goal is not just the re-wear of the items but ultimately, 100% recycling of these valuable material resources.

What should I say if the customer wants a tax deductible receipt? The Resourced program collections support the global need for a circular fashion system and not a specific charity, therefore a customer is not able to receive a tax deductible receipt.

Gift with Purchase (GWP): GUESS List members who make a purchase of $125 or more (pre-tax and after discounts applied) will receive a free GUESS weekender bag, $20 shopping card, Paul Mitchell hair product and Bioré face wash. The GWP items will arrive in-store by Thursday, August 18. Receive the GUESS Weekender Bag per normal procedure; scan the UCC 128 barcode on the carton label. Cartons are labeled “GWP GESDUFFLEWE”. All other GWP items do not need to be scanned in. Upon receipt, store in the stockroom until the event date. If GWP items do not arrive by Thursday, August 18, contact Jessica Pecora at [email protected]. Assign an associate to assemble the GWP by inserting the $20 shopping card, Paul Mitchell hair product and Bioré face wash into the GUESS weekender bag prior to the event date. Prior to event start time, place a supply of GWPs on the back cashwrap. Display the GWP at the cashwrap and on the drive aisle along with the Gift with Purchase signage in a 10x13 key item sign frame.

Awarding the GWP: Award the GWP to GUESS List members who make a purchase of $125 or more (pre-tax and after discounts are applied) during event hours. Continue to distribute the GWP until the supply is depleted. Limit one GWP per GUESS List member. Do not award the GWP to associates. The weekender bag GWP has a UPC barcode to scan; it is included as part of your store’s inventory and must be scanned at the register during the sale transaction. GUESS Mystery Offer Scratchers: Stores will receive the scratcher coupons by Thursday, August 18 via UPS. Immediately upon receipt, store them in a safe place in the stockroom. Prior to store opening Saturday, August 20, unpack the scratcher coupons and distribute a portion into two small shopping bags. Scratcher coupons will be distributed all day. Replenish shopping bags with scratcher coupons throughout the day. Scratchers should be distributed during event hours only.

Promotional Associates: Select two engaging and brand-appropriate associates to act as greeters and distribute the scratcher coupons all day at store opening and during event hours. These promotional associates must be enthusiastic and comfortable approaching customers. Zone the two associates at the store entrance to hand out the scratcher coupons and promote the event. Promotional associates must remain within the GUESS lease lines when handing out the scratcher coupons. They may not approach customers in common areas of the mall. The promotional associates should approach customers as they walk by and invite them to visit GUESS to reveal their mystery offer. Only distribute one coupon per customer. Customers may not combine multiple scratcher coupons to receive a higher or multiple discounts. Do not hand out coupons to children. Replenish the scratcher coupons as necessary by refilling the promotional associates’ shopping bags with the additional coupons stored in the stockroom. Continue to give away scratcher coupons until close of business on Saturday, August 20. If coupons are not depleted by store closing, purge the remaining coupons.

Denim DIY Denim Patch Station: Customers will have the option to customize their denim by selecting up to three free pin-on patches per denim item purchased. Each store will receive the items listed below via UPS by Thursday, August 18. Upon receipt, store in a safe place in the stockroom:

• 100-250 Pin-on patches • 1 DIY Station sign

Prior to the event start time on Saturday, August 20, set up your six-foot table with table cloth in a visible location close to the store entrance. Display two pairs of denim with DIY patches. Ensure the table does not block product or interfere with traffic. Place DIY station signage on the table

Ensure a store associate is zoned at the DIY denim patch station to assist customers. The associate will regulate patch application and replenish patches as needed. Store back stock of patches under the table.

Continue to distribute patches until supply is depleted. Upon depletion, remove the denim samples and return to store inventory. Remove the six-foot table from the salesfloor. If you have any remaining patches at the end of the event, continue distributing to customers that make a denim purchase.

Denim Painting Station (5923, 5962, 5964): In addition to selecting from a variety of pin-on patches to customize their denim purchase, customers will also have the option to customize their denim purchase with unique designs painted on by local artists. Contact information will be provided no later than Wednesday, August 17.

DJ: DJs will arrive 45 minutes prior to event start time. If the DJ does not arrive within 30 minutes of event start time, contact the vendor listed on the Contact Tab of the Pre-Event Plan. Jessica Pecora will e-mail each store their DJ contact information by Wednesday, August 17. Place your DJ in a visible location close to the store entrance and near an electrical outlet. Ensure the DJ does not block product or interfere with traffic and that all cords are taped down with black electrical tape. If the DJ does not arrive with a stand of his/her own, set up your six-foot table in the chosen location. Use your black spandex table cloth to cover the table. Ensure the table cloth is steamed and free from wrinkles. The DJ’s equipment boxes should be stored in the stockroom to avoid clutter. Ensure volume is kept at an appropriate level for mall management, neighboring tenants and shoppers. The DJ is scheduled to spin for the entire event duration.

Stores will receive one DJ laptop cover before Thursday, August 18 via UPS. Upon receipt, store the covers in the sign library. When the DJ sets up on Saturday, August 20, cut the laptop cover to the appropriate size and affix it to the DJ’s laptop. Ensure there are no bubbles or wrinkles in the laptop cover.

Prize Wheel (5923, 5962, 5964): During event hours, customers are invited to spin the GUESS Prize Wheel. The coupons will still be utilized, but rather than promotional associates distributing them to customers, customers will be handed the coupon matching the discount they win on the Prize Wheel. Prior to the start of the event, set-up the Prize Wheel and position near the front of store so it is visible to passing customers. Reference the attached “Prize Wheel How-To Guide” for assembly instructions. Ensure Prize Wheel magnetic wedges are placed on the wheel and that each wedge is aligned to fit within four notches. Store the remaining coupon inventory underneath the table for easy replenishment throughout the event.

Prize Wheel Promotional Associates (5923, 5962, 5964): Schedule two promotional associates for the entire event duration to manage the Prize Wheel. Throughout the event, the Prize Wheel associates will manage the line, assist in spinning the Prize Wheel, distribute coupons, and switch out the Prize Wheel wedges as corresponding coupons deplete.

Zone one promotional associate at the Prize Wheel to encourage customers to spin the wheel. Zone the second promotional associate on the opposite side of the prize wheel to distribute coupons to customers upon winning. Both promotional associates should work together. Prior to event start time, instruct promotional associates on the Prize Wheel process.

When a customer lands on a prize, associates will congratulate the customer and ask the customer to step to the side and collect their coupon. The promotional associate will award the winning customer with their respective coupon. Restrict each customer to spin the wheel once. Do not allow customers to select their own prize. If inventory of any of the offers is depleted, replace that prize wedge on the wheel with a duplicate of a coupon that has ample inventory. Your store will only be provided with one 40% off coupon and 15 Free Denim coupons. Please ensure these wedges are switched out with the spare wedges after the offers are depleted. Continue to run the Prize Wheel until the end of the event or until all coupon offers are depleted.

At the end of the event or when prizes are depleted, dismantle the wheel and store in the box provided until further instructions. Package extra prizes and ship to the Toronto Office, Attention: Jessica Pecora.

We are very excited and proud to partner with our retail stores and Cotton Incorporated’s Blue Jeans GoGreen™ program by launching a Fall Denim Recycling Campaign at the GUESS World Headquartersbeginning Thursday, September 1 through Saturday, October 1, 2016. Denim collected through the BlueJeans Go Green™ program is recycled into UltraTouch™ Denim Insulation by Bonded Logic, Inc. A portionof this insulation is in turn distributed to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity to assist communitiesin need. Since the launch of this innovative program, Blue Jeans Go Green™ has diverted over 600 tons ofdenim from landfills, and collected over one million pieces of denim to date. Between Thursday, September 1 and Saturday, October 1, 2016 GUESS corporate associates will have theopportunity to turn their blue jeans green by simply dropping off denim at the Reception Desk in Building3.
