Section A. Test methodology:

1. Users will log on to BW Analyzer to access the query.

2. Selection criteria will be based on the individual user

preference.3. Once the outputs are displayed in the Excel Workbook

system, the user will document the actual results.4. Then user will execute relevant legacy query with the same

selection criteria as was selected for new query.5. Once the BW query outputs are displayed the user will then

validate the query output with the results recorded in step 3.

6. If there is any discrepancy between both the results, the user shall double check if the selection criteria or same.

7. If the selection criteria used are same and the results do havediscrepancy then the user shall document the same under the

3rd column in the UAT script. Then open a SIR in solution

manager and document the SIR number in the third columnin this UAT document.

8. Column4 will be documented with OK if there is no issueelse mentions Issue.

Section B. Selection criteria used in the illustration in UAT.

User should iterate 2-3 selection combination selecting differentcustomer, model and time period.

Users can list the selection criteria planned to be

used for the test:

1A: Go to start=>All Programs=>Business Explorer=>Business Explorer (SAP BW

3.x)=>Analyzer (SAP BW 3.x)

Excel Analyzer will start up with the tool box as shown.

1B: Finding workbook under correct folder.

Once you have logged on the system when you hit the open icon, the list opens up.

Then you will need to open the workbook: Sales - Forecast & Commitments Analysis

report.

Menu Path: Roles SAP APO-Planning Excel queries SCP - Point of Sale

Analysis after selecting the query click OK.

Once the query is opened, the selection screen pops up.

FiscalPeriod/Year and Major Category fields are the mandatory fields in thequery – user must enter a value.
