Induction: Coaching
• First year graduates receive weekly visits from UTEP coaches; 2nd year and third years get bi-weekly visits
• First Year Induction (FYI) gatherings rotate between schools where graduates meet as a support group through the first year of teaching
Inquiry Groups
• Attended by graduates, clinical instructors, colleagues, and even 2nd year residents
• Examples: Problem Solving, Teaching with Love & Logic, Affinity Groups (LGBQT, African American)
