public services (solid waste, sanitation, among others);

1) Project to combat the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents during major events

- France``: Exchange experiences and strengthen binomial cooperation;
• Meetings Brazil - France (2006 - Marseille, France / 2007 - Belo Horizonte, Brazil / 2009 -
Lyon, France / 2013 - São Paulo, Brazil);
• Trilateral Call for proposal: Cooperation between Brazilian and French local authorities
towards African municipalities Brazilian central government (local government
funding) + French central and local government.

• The project received support up to $ 200,000 to implement the actions of international
cooperation, through the resources of Brazilian central government:
1) Curitiba(Brazil) and Rosário (Argentina) Integrated care services to
citizens;
2) Canoas (Brazil) e Morón (Argentina) Observatory of citizen security and
violence;
3) Bagé (Brazil) e Cerro Largo (Uruguai) Rescue and recovery of Cultural
Heritage;
4) Vitória (Brazil) e Xai-Xai (Mozambique) Integral management of
territories.

• Within the framework of Brazilian Central
Government Priority South-South cooperation /
among Emergent Countries
• Before (By 2011):
Brazilian technicians visits to Mozambique and contrariwise;
Meetings and actions of networks of municipalities (UCLG, Metropolis, UN-
Habitat, FALP,...);
Terms of cooperation FNP – ANAMM; Terms of coopartion between cities
BR – MZ.
• Now (Post 2011) Project to improve the capacity of local authorities as
actors of international decentralized cooperation.

4) Methodology g100 and EU African Associations of Municipalities
• The g100 is the group of 100 cities with over 80,000 inhabitants who have a high demand for public services (health, education and social care) and low financial capacity;
• Project of FNP – Institutional strengthening of municipalities in the g100 Tripartite cooperation: Brazil - Europe - Africa: FNP and E.U. shares with associations of African municipalities methodology to mitigate differences of municipalities based on the experience of the EU and g100.
