UCS Test Drive for Technical Decision Makers Why Firefly From expert-led classrooms to virtual experiences and state-of-the art remote lab access, we are passionate about the service we deliver. Firefly’s heritage in education and data center technologies ensures a consistently high level of customer satisfaction scores. Firefly instructors are industry practitioners and leverage this experience to blend formal education with hands-on training and customized laboratories to deliver a highly interactive and immersive course. This course uses the key pieces of the DCUCI/UCS-IP course to provide summary information, with practice labs, to enable technical decision makers to understand the architecture and value of Cisco UCS products. The materials and labs are current, using UCS Manager version 2.1 content. The course also describes UCS enterprise manage- ment tools such as UCS Central and UCS Director. The labs for this course are conducted on physical and virtual equipment running UCS Manager 2.1. Students will explore, hands-on, the new features of UCS Manager 2.1 while implementing VMware's latest hypervisor, ESXi 5.1. Course Description The Cisco Unified Computing System family of products is a next-generation computing solution based on industry-standard technologies and innova- tive management concepts. Cisco UCS redefines the way data centers use and deploy compute resources while reducing management overhead and increasing efficiency. This two-day course provides the student with an architectural overview of the Cisco UCS and how it can be deployed to increase compute density, reduce the cabling, power, and cooling burdens, and accelerate server provisioning in both virtualized and non-virtualized environments. UCS Test Drive forTechnical Decision Makers

Why Firefly

From expert-led classrooms to virtual experiences and state-of-the art remote lab access, we are passionate about the service we deliver.

The course also describes UCS enterprise manage-ment tools such as UCS Central and UCS Director. The labs for this course are conducted on physical and virtual equipment running UCS Manager 2.1. Students will explore, hands-on, the new features of UCS Manager 2.1 while implementing VMware's latest hypervisor, ESXi 5.1.

Course DescriptionThe Cisco Unified Computing System family of products is a next-generation computing solution based on industry-standard technologies and innova-tive management concepts.
