Current Role:-

Area In-Charge for ROT, Hydraulic, and Spare Preparations including 13 Nos.EOT Cranes. that includes Ensuring Optimum Availability, Preventive Maintenance, Cost Control, Safety, Up-gradation, Enhancing up Time, Manpower & Material Planning.

Major Responsibilities and achievements are:

Independently leading the team for ROT, Hydraulic, Spare Preparations and EOT Cranes, responsible for Safety, Training & Development of Team Members with best practices.

Accountable for Detailed Design, Engineering and implementation of Mechanical equipments of Caster and Crane Area and responsible for procurement of all Buyer scope of Mechanical items.

Responsible of day to day maintenance and planning activities of ROT, Hydraulics and Crane area Equipments with close coordination with Operation and Electrical team.

Accountable for Maximum Equipment Availability of Mechanical Equipments through Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, Inspection & Corrective actions. Prepared maintenance plans/schedules for reducing systems downtime.

Responsible for the maintenance of mainly TCM, ROT, Marking Machine, Dummy Bar, Hydraulics (Main System, Slide Gate, AMLC, HMO, etc), EOT Cranes and Selected Mechanical and Operational Spares (Stopper Rod Mechanism, Hydraulic Cylinders and Valves, ROT Rollers, Regulators, etc).

From 2006 to 2008 Worked in Cranes Area as Senior Engineer. From 2008 to 2011 as a Shift In Charge From 2011 to 2013 Worked in Mould, Segment and QC Preparation Area In Charge. Supervised the erection, testing and commissioning of Marking Machine, EOT Crane for Scale Pit, Dummy Bar Entry Guide,

Cable Collecting Box, Executed Revamping of Equipments during Capital shutdowns – HMO, Shifting Table, Cooling Chamber Structural, Steam Fan

revamping, Ladle Turret Cylinder and Rotary joint etc. Played an important role in scheduling and planning predictive, preventive and breakdown maintenance jobs with key focus on

spares availability and root cause analysis. 5’S Area leader of Water room and General Area. Faced External Audits 2 times Assisted for SAP ECC 6.0 PM Module implementation of Mechanical department and maintaining of important documentations. Optimized Casting parameters based on operations / productions requirements. Monthly Report for Spares consumption at Operations and in the CCP Mech team.
