1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS
Dear Student,
Welcome to the COGENT online fees portal. This portal
provides you a platform for online payment of your college fees. Read
carefully instructions given below for your registration and for filling
up the required form.
Keep following documents (Soft copy/Scanned copy) and
details, ready with you before sign up and login.
HSC marksheet of all attempts (Scanned copy Less than 1Mb in
size and in PDF format).
School LC i.e Leaving Certificate (Scanned copy Less than
500KB in size and in PDF format).
Affidavit, NOC and University allotment letter must be in PDF
format and size must be less than 500KB(for whom it is
applicable).
Passport size photo(Less than 50KB in size and in JPG format).
HSC trial certificate of all attempts(PDF format and less than
500KB).
Category certificate and non creamy layer certificate should be
uploaded in a single PDF file and size must be less than
1 Mb(For whom it is applicable)
University allotment letter only for 1stsemester students(If your
university has allotted)
1. First sign up with your proper email address and mobile number.

2. Enter a password of your choice and confirm it.
3. On successful registration,you will get an OTP on your email
address and in your mobile number.
4. Enter email OTP and mobile OTP in the tabs and click on verify
button.
5. On successful verification, it shows that “Your SSO account
created successfully” you can login now.
6. Now you have to click on login.
7. Login with your email ID and password.
8. Fill up the required personal details, institute details and upload
the required documents, result details.
9. After filling up the required details, click on the “Submit” button.
10. After submission of the form, your unique ID will be generated.
11. Note down the unique ID and keep it safe with you.
12. After this process is over, your form will be verified by your
college. After form verification process by your college, you will
receive a message and link for online payment fees from your
college on your email Id and mobile number.
13. Then you to have to proceed for online fees payment through the
given link in the stipulated time period.
14. If your form is rejected by your college, then you will have to fill
or edit the form again and make the required changes.

2 PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
2.1 STEP 1 – Create An Account
1. Open the link given to you by your college for registration and
online fees payment.
2. Enter your Email Address and Mobile Number.
3. Enter a password of your choice and confirm it by entering the
same in next tab.

4. Click on REGISTER button.
5. On Successful registration, you will get an OTP on your email
address as well as on your mobile number.
6. Enter Email OTP and Mobile OTP in the tabs and click on VERIFY
button.

7. On Successful verification, it will show that your SSO account
Created Successfully. You can login now.
8. Login by using your Email Id/Phone No/Unique Id and Password on
the portal.
9. On Successful login, a new window will open

2.2 STEP 2 – Personal Details
1. Student needs to enter HSC Board Basic Detail.
2. After entering the data, click on the FETCH DETAIL button.
3. Student other than Gujarat board will have to manually fill up all
the details.
4. Gujarat board student data will be fetched from server and student
will find his name and HSC Details automatically in the respective
boxes.

5. Student have to fill all Personal Info, Additional Details and after
verifying all the details, click on the SUBMIT button to complete
the form.

2.3 STEP 3 – Upload Documents
1. Students should keep ready scanned copy of their own documents in
PDF format before filling up the form on the COGENT portal so
that it will be easier to fill up the form.
2. It is mandatory to upload LC of HSC, HSC Marksheet of all
attempts & Passport size photo.
3. HSC Marksheet of all attempts should be uploaded in one PDF file
and size must be less than 1 Mb.
4. LC of HSC, HSC trial certificate, must be in PDF format and size
must be less than 500KB.
5. Passport size photo must be less than 50KB in size and in jpg
format.
6. Category certificate and non creamy layer certificate should be
uploaded in a single PDF file and size must be less than 1 Mb(For
whom it is applicable)

format and size must be less than 500KB (for whom it is

8. Upload all the documents one by one

9. After uploading any document if you want to change/re-upload any
document then first delete already uploaded document and then re-
upload it.
10. On Successful uploading of documents, click on the NEXT
button.

2.4 STEP 4 - Institute Details
1. You will be directed to the institute details window.
2. After entering the institute details correctly, click on the
SUBMIT button.

3. Ready carefully notification before clicking on YES button. After
submission you will not be able to update again.

2.5 STEP 5 – Result Details
1. Student have to enter previous results details of all semester one by
one –

3. After entering & uploading all semester details and mark sheet
click on SUBMIT button.

2.6 STEP 6– Lock Profile
1. After uploading all result details, student registration process will
be completed and following message will be displayed on the screen.
“You have successfully completed all steps of registration
“Your unique registration id is ##########”
2. Students need to keep unique id with them. It will be utilized
further for payment of fees and all subsequent processes.

3. After reading the given instruction carefully, student will be asked
to Lock Profile.

4. After locking the profile, the student profile will be available on
COGENT Platform

5. After this Process is over, your form will be Verified by your college
and after form verification process by your college, you will receive
a message and link for online payment fees from your college on
your email Id and mobile number.
6. You have to pay online fees using the link sent to you on your email
address and mobile number within the stipulated period.
7. If your form is rejected by your college, then you will be notify by
email and message.
8. Then you will have to fill or edit the form again and make the
required changes.
