Every Rotarian is welcome - even encouraged - toattend any of the 32,000 clubs in over 200 nations and geo-graphical regions. This means instant friends in both one’sown community and in the world community.

The Development of Ethics: For over 100 years, Rotarians have practiced a 4-Way Testthat defines ethical standards. Is it the truth? Is it fair to allconcerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Willit be beneficial to all concerned? Rotarians are expected to beethical in business and personal relationships.

Cultural Awareness: Around the world, practically every religion, country, culture, race, creed, political persuasion, language, color, and ethnicidentity is found in Rotary. The Opportunity to Serve: The motto of Rotary is “service above self”. Its business ismankind. Its product is service. Rotarians provide communityservice to both local and international communities. This isperhaps the best reason for becoming a Rotarian: the chanceto do something for somebody else and to sense the self-ful-fillment that comes in the process and return of that satisfac-tion to one’s own life. It is richly rewarding.
