The B.Sc.BT students have to undergo mandatory practical training once in a year as a part of the program requirement. There will be

three practical subjects, one each in II, IV and VI semesters. Each practical subject is of four credits. The duration of the practical

training will be about 7 days. On the last day of each practical subject, there will be an examination. Out of the total marks, 60% is

day of the practical training. Since this practical training requires advanced equipment and imported chemicals, they will be

trained staff to support the students. Practical training will be scheduled once in a year and it is compulsory for all the students to

    attend the practical training.

    MANAGEMENT

Due to family responsibilities, I never thought I could complete my education. I joined the family business soon

after my high school and life became very hectic. Though the desire to be a graduate never diminished, I wasnt

sure if I could manage both at the same time. When a friend introduced me to the benefits of SMU-DE, I felt that

it was just made for me. With features like online support, faculty chat, student discussion groups etc. managing

work and studies was possible . I am a proud graduate today and feel that with a little effort, every dream can be

    realised.
