• Beginning July 1, 2017, Spinraza must be acquired from Accredo Specialty Pharmacy for members covered under a UnitedHealthcare Commercial Plan
• For members with active Medicare coverage provided by UnitedHealthcare, the care provider can continue to purchase Spinrazaand directly bill to UnitedHealthcare Medicare Solutions. Pharmacies may not bill Medicare or Medicare Private Fee for Service plans for drugs furnished to a care provider for administration to a Medicare beneficiary.
