adoDal orpnisationa with memberahiPI of between 5,000 and 50,000 members have an entitlement of ten pairs in the Open Pairs Championship and of live pairs in the Women's Pairs Championship. They also have an entitlement of eiaht teams in the Mixed Teams tournament, an e ent in which teams are to be made up of two Mixed Pairs.

The B.B.L. has allocated a total sum of £400 towards entry ~ for the Championship Pairs e ents (Open and Women's). This will be divided between not more than four Open pairs and two Women's pairs.

The entry fee for the pairs events is $90 per pair. The entry fee for the Mixed Teams events is SlSO per team. In both these events the pairs and teams mu t be made up of members of

the same country. M1ud Pairs. Entry fee $36 per palr. In this event it is perml ible to pla,y with a partner from another ational

body, always provided that the entry is approved by both ational bodi concerned.
