*the certified value is based on both gravimetric preparation, and instrumental analysis * the uncertainty is calculated as: U=ku
c,
where k is the multiplier for a 95% level of confidence interval (Table B.1 of Guidelines for Evaluating and
Expressing the uncertainty of NIST measurement results), and uc is the combinated standard uncertainty calculated acc. ISO Guide to the Expression of
Uncertainty in Measurement
Measured density: 0.997 g/cm3 at 20 0C
This solution was manufactured using purified acids by subboiling, 18 MOhm double deionized water, calibrated Class A glassware, and high density polyethilene bottle, decontaminated by leaching with high purity acids, 18 megohm deionised water and triple rinse. Balances are calibrated with weights, traceable to NIST. Stability and accuracy are guaranteed until the date shown at the label provided that the solution is tightly capped and stored under normal laboratory conditions. This certification is nullified if the standard solution is damaged, contaminated, or modified.
Certification date:Shelf Life* :Expiry date** :
14.07.2009until 08.2010………………(Should not exceed 6 months from date of opening within the shelf-life period.)
* The shelf life is the specified length of time prior to use for which a properly packaged and stored standard solution remains within the specified uncertainty.
** The expiry date is the date after which the certification of standard solution becomes invalid (due to transpiration losses and frequently use).
