the uk music video awards celebrate the very best of british and international music videos, music films, and the talent behind them. with over 30 awards presented on the night, the show brings together well-established and up-and-coming directors, cinematographers, producers, editors, stylists, production designers, vfx artists, animators, colourists and commissioners for one night to celebrate the most creative, innovative and successful music videos of the past 12 months.

this year saw more than 1200 entries from 25 different territories submitted for judging. over 350 jury members from a range of disciplines and territories were invited to vote in round 1. the top-voted entries were then reviewed by 80 professionals from the industry in a series of second round judging panels. the nominations for the individual awards for director, new director, producer, commissioner and artist were voted on by all jury members.
