OSHA Safety Standards, any product used in the workplace must be approved by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).

The type of products requiring NRTL approval, for some organizations, is starting to include area radiation monitors and radioactive counting equipment. The OSHA product listing is officially posted is at:

Approximate Cost $5,000 per visit by UL field engineerField engineer only approves those instruments that are tested during visit.
