MRS CAMPBELL’S FAREWELL ASSEMBLY
We will be celebrating Mrs Campbell’s Farewell next
Friday at 10:30 in the School Library. This will be a
special assembly dedicated to Mrs Campbell and her
years of teaching the students at Ulmarra PS. We will
follow with a picnic morning tea for students and
parents to share in the cutting of her retirement cake
and to reminisce about her time with us.
BOOK FAIR
Thank you to everyone who bought books at our Book
Fair last week. Due to the fantastic response by
community, students and families the school was able
to select $450 worth of books for free. What a great
effort by Tania Watt to open the Book Fair each day
for purchasing. Thank you Tania we really appreciate
your support.
TRANSITION TO SCHOOL
We are currently taking enrolments for our River To
Sea Transition To School Program. This program will
begin Tuesday of week 2 next term, 21/7/15. It will run
for nine weeks during term 3 and nine weeks during
term 4. As this is a special school program it will run at
a small cost of $50 per term.
Enrolment forms are available from Mrs McSwan in the
front office. Please spread the word for those who do
not receive a school newsletter.
DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY
Good luck to Jack L, Sam, Amelia, Grace, Olivia and
Shaun who are competing at Sawtell in the Mid North
Coast Cross Country Carnival today. Have a great day!

Thank you to everyone who supported the P&C in our
recent lamington drive. Thank you to Jenny and
Michelle for travelling to Casino to pick up and sort the
lamingtons. We made $422.40 for the school P&C.
Now that’s a lot of lamingtons!
EISTEDDFOD
Wow! We came first! What an awesome effort by all
the Yr 1-6 students who combined with Nymboida,
Cowper and Gillwinga Schools in the Small School
Choir division. Thank you to Kris Edwards and the
Clarence Valley Conservatorium of Music teaching the
children over the last 2 terms.

15th June to Friday 19th June. If your child would like
to be involved it only costs $20 payable with permission

P & C News
BBQ For Sale!
Thanks to all of the great support the P&C received from our parents and the community last
year, the P&C were able to upgrade to a new BBQ for our future fundraising endeavours. This
leaves us with our old BBQ still working, but no longer needed. It’s a four burner with no
hood. We are asking $50 for it. It’s a great little BBQ. So if you are in the market for a BBQ
please come and have a look at this one. Price is negotiable.
