is a Release Coated PET Film for Transfer Label Printing & other suitable release applications. The Most functional part of this

release film is release coating & to match optimum functionality in printing & transfers we at Vama Prints & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. have

done extensive R&D of over 2ys to produce our own coating. With the latest machine for the Batching system, Coating mixer & Dispersers,

Film Coating, Slitting, and Cutting we ensure consistent quality.

Films are heat-treated at High temperatures for best dimension stability and low shrinkage to achieve the best

possible registration in multi-color printing.

Coating has very good blocking resistance so stacked bundles do not stick t each other, its easier to take sheets 1 by

1 quickly, beneficial in both manual and automatic printing process.

Compatible with Screen printing (Manual, Automated sheet feed and roll to roll),

Offset printing & Digital printing*. Best results can be achieved by Inks like Phthalate & Phthalate free Plastisol ink, Solvent-based &

Waterborne 2pack PU inks Waterborne acrylic ink, litho transfer, etc..

Film has inherent antistatic properties due to which no powder will stick on film other than the print area or on the backside

which is a boon for the powder application process by Machine & Manual application.

Release properties are matched in such a way that after printing & drying, print hold out is such that in normal handling

conditions print will not fall off. In transfers after fusing label film will peel off smoothly to achieve 100% & consistent transfer each time

in Hot Peel**, Warm Peel & Cold Peel.

The surface finish of the film is such which gives a satin matte finish to the transfers & also hides the overlay

marking of backup adhesives especially on the back or dark cloth surfaces.

Release coating has functionality that will leave transferred print with a smooth and soft touch effect and

eliminate the rubbery, itchy feel of transfers.

REACH Compliant & production to be brought under the scope of ISO 9001:2015.

Coating has resistant to scratch & polishing effect (matte coating turning gloss) in normal handling

conditions. Which helps in carefree printing and achieving consistent transfers.

Actual

** Ultranex Release film is designed for application in various process of printing, Inkjet printing testing is still in process so we

recommend to make sample production before making actual production lots.

*Hot Peel Release greatly dependents upon printing methods, Ink types, Adhesive types used for printing labels & in fusing

Pressure, Temperature & Time plays key roll. So user has to evolve there own methods of Printing & Fusing to get consistent

results. Were as we have taken care that any above parameter will not affect cold peel & consistent cold peel could be achieved.

Page 4: Ultranex Product Data Sheet

Following are guideline for printing Heat Transfer Labels with intention to Guide Transfer Label Printers to make good quality of

transfers. It will help startup, may be practices of seasoned & larger printers have better practices but we will request to go through

following once and it may solve defect point if any.

Many ''Garment Heat Transfer Label'' manufacturers continuously strive to provide right kind of quality as per customer

requirement. For that material like Ink, Powder adhesive, Printable adhesive and Carrier Release film plays the major role in

consistent quality of transfers but ''Methods'' of producing or printing labels are often responsible for rejection in printing process

and NG quality.

Rejection majorly happens in registration issue or non-transfer of label at client place or wash fastness of prints etc. Below data can

be beneficial to refine the process for manufacturing the garment transfer label through screen printing to reduce rejection in

printing and to get best possible results of transfers using Ultranex Release Films

1. PREPRESS1) For Better Registration: a. First step is to check registration in positive itself.b. Screen tension should be >=20 N/Cm so dimension of the exposed print will remain = to dimension of Positive.c. Always use sturdy aluminum frame Wall thickness of Aluminum section >2.5 MM thickness.2) For Better Sharpness of Printing: a. Use yellow cloth (90T or 63T) for finer exposing use reputed emulsion or capillary Film, yellow cloth is inert to exposing light so light diffusion will not affect clarity and fineness of exposed prints.b. Evolve your own SOP for time of exposing with series of trial & check screen before releasing for printing process.3) For Better Transfer Stability on Garment: a. For Printable Adhesive or Litho backup always use cloth mesh <43T & HD emulsion for high ink deposition to achieve ink thickness of 30µ to 50µ which is necessary to achieve durability of print after transfer.

2. PRESS1) In Press 1st step is always check Exposed Screen Design = Positive size. Keep positive on exposed screen design & check it should align one over other exactly.2) For fine prints use medium hard squeeze rubber better if its triple duo. For printable adhesive use soft squeeze.3)Film needs or needs not be to be blank passed from oven before printing? should be evaluated with series of trials by user because Oven condition, Time & Temperature varies with different user. For exact registration oven working SOP should be same for Blank and Color Print passes both. For last Printable adhesive or/and powder adhesive pass could be at higher temperaturesNOTE: SURFACE TEMPERATURE OF PRINT AREA SHOULD BE MEASURED TO SET OVEN SOP.4) In printing colours make sure ink dries at 130°C to 150°C for 90 to 30 Sec. thoroughly & cooled to room temperature before staking one over other.

5) After adhesive printing or/and powder application sheets should be heated to 160°C to 170°C for 90 to 45 sec.6)We have found best results by trials with FIXATTI PU & Co-polyester powders with manual and machine powder application process. As such ''ULTRANEX'' has inherent property of static ionization which will lead to no powder sticking on non printed area or back of the sheets. 7) For Better Hold Out of print on the film surface after printing & drying we recommend temperature of oven = Melting point of Adhesive Powder & time required to throughly melt the powder. Best results we have found is at 160°C for 1Minute.

3. FOR DRYING OVEN1.Use non colour sensitive type IR lamps with air circulation in oven. 2.Thyristor-based temperature controller is very affective which will control intensity of Lamp or heater to give consistent heat whereas ON/OFF type Temp. controls will give variations due to continues On/Off cycle. 3.Whatever the set temperature is printer should focus on surface temperature (SF) of the printed Sheets/Print area. 4.After oven a cooling fan is must to bring sheet temperature down to room temperature.

3. FOR TRANSFERIn Ultranex film we have tried to maintain balance of print adhesion after printing, drying and smooth release on transfer, to obtain its prime purpose of consistent transfer of labels on garment in wide range of temperatures and Dwell time we have worked hard on coating formulations and orientation trails of transfers to achieve optimum results.

Recommendation for best quality of transfers on the cloth surface is 160°C for 10 to 20 Seconds & for sensitive fabrics 120°C for 15 to 20 Seconds. But always user of label needs faster transfer speed to achieve production targets. User should try 200°C for 2Sec transfer or even 180°C for 2 to 4 Seconds possible.

GENERAL CARE:

NOTE: We recommend do not stack more than 200 sheets on 1 over other to prevent sticking of design on back of above kept sheet.

NOTE: Always use Silicone Rubber sheet of approx 15mm thinkness & 30 Shore A hardness on transfer bed, soft bed will help in lesser distortion of print in heat and pressure. Pressure should be adjusted as per bed size small bed size less pressure big bed size higher pressure (Eg. for bed size 3”X3” pressure of 1.5 to 2 bars is sufficient.)
