UMS-Wright is an independent, non-sectarian, coeducational college preparatory school enrolling students in grades K4-12. As a family school with a solid tradition of educating not only top students, athletes, artists, and community leaders, we also shape our students to be the best people that they can be. Since 1893, our dynamic programs and inspiring teachers have been helping our students excel year after year.

OUR MISSION:For the UMS-Wright Family to educate all students to their highest potential in mind, body, and spirit and to produce in each student character of the highest order possible.
O�ering a curriculum of excellence, UMS-Wright maintains an accelerated program with unique features of individualized enrichment and reinforcement. We put an emphasis on language arts, math, science and social studies complemented by the incorporation of �ne arts, advanced technology with interactive SMART Boards in every classroom, physical education, music and drama, foreign language, and service and co-curriculars for middle and upper schools. In keeping with UMS-Wright’s mission, teachers and students work together to foster an understanding of how to be successful academically and socially.
HONOR SYSTEM:The Honor System is a code of ethics governing the conduct of the students of UMS-Wright in all matters pertaining to personal honesty and integrity.
Interactive Middle School Writing Lab
Advancing Students Student life outside the classroom is an integral part of the UMS-Wright educational experience. Students of all ages are given numerous opportunities to interact with each other and with their teachers in one on one and group activities. In addition, students are encouraged to be active in the local, state, national and world communities with speci�c emphasis being placed upon our obligation to serve others through extensive service opportunities.
With our extensive list of co-curricular activities ranging from grades K4 to 12, there is something for everyone!!

Advancing
the Arts
The UMS-Wright Art Program is designed to stimulate creativity, develop artistic talent, and encourage students. From grades K4 through 12, students are introduced to many di�erent components of �ne arts, communication arts, and performing arts. Our art facilities include two kilns, four practice rooms, a digital photography lab, a broadcasting studio, a band room, a choral room, an amphitheater, four rehearsal rooms, a studio art room, and a drama lab, all with SMART Boards. With these facilities and the help from talented teachers, our students are discovering their talents at an early age!

ATHLETIC PROGRAMS
Our Athletic Facilities include two gymnasiums, a swimming pool, a state-of-the art football stadium, a weightroom, a newly updated track, an additional all purpose �eld made of a “sprint turf”, two dance studios, a baseball �eld, and a newly added practice �eld.
Advancing Athletics
In keeping with the UMS-Wright mission, the Athletic Department o�ers a wide variety of sports from intramurals starting in K5 all the way up to our varsity programs. Healthy competitions and the accompanying lessons of self-discipline, personal sacri�ce, and loyalty help students become individuals with superior character. In addition to learning such valuable lessons, our athletes of all ages have fun!
